Was difficult to get to taxi took us to another Hermes and we were then stranded. Another taxi ride later we arrived not identification of premises closed gate. Finally got in and into our room which was tiny but ok except for shower which sprayed all over and flooded floor. Left our bags in room for a few hours but couldn’t get back in until 2pm to pick them up. A lot of this was probably our fault for not checking more thoroughly but it certainly wasn’t easy all round and not a highlight of our trip

Too Many Supplemental Fees - Stay at a Hotel
We arrived at 9:15 PM from Praino with my girlfriend and two of my friends and had a one night booking here to make it to an early Naples flight the next day. When I booked this reservation, I had confirmed for 3 people and the unit booked was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom as the 4th in our group was not sure of her departure time. Upon arrival, we were told that since we are now 4 people that we would be charged an extra 25 Euros, however this was not stated or provided as notice anywhere. In fact the room specifically allowed for a maximum of more than 4 (there were 2 cots in a 3rd room). The rooms were clean (despite my finding a bug in my room), but there was also a notice that use of any dishes or dishwashing would be another 25 euro charge so we didn't use the kitchen at all. Don't forget the cleaning charge as well 25-50 euros. So what seems to be a reasonably priced stay turned out to be less so. I'd recommend this place for a family or group of friends, but with the final price for one night, you're better off booking a nice hotel without all the add-ons. The reception lady was helpful in booking a taxi for us to the airport however.

Except for Simone, service is horrendous. We came at 9pm to check in. When we got in, one of our sheets was dirty (with literal dirt and dark stains). We asked them to change sheets and we had a very very hard time arguing over a change of clean sheets. They wanted us to put a towel over it until cleaning day comes which was in 2 days and we just got there!!!! Upon checkout, the office was closed and no one was there to check us out. So we left and came back and when we came back we were accused of breaking furniture that was already broken. They wanted me to pay but there was no way I was going to pay because we didn’t break it. It made me hate The people of Naples. They don’t deserve that reputation but I would only recommend this place to people I hate. The location was fairly good. Closest metro was about 8 minutes walk. Via duomo is right where the apartment is that wasn’t so bad. Only Simone was excellent and when something needed to be asked, we called or texted him.

As you said, and as you can read on other reviewers, Hermes inn apartments Naples is in a great location, our staff is friendly and available for any request. We really don't understand why your opinion is so severe. When checking in the apartment was in order and clean, you probably left your luggage on the bed, maybe you didn't notice and you said the blanket was dirty. In any case, we have promptly changed the blanket. Our housekeeping manager, during his control work, I discovered that by breaking house rules and common sense, you used mattress nets as a coat hanger, you improperly opened a sofa bed and damaged it and moved several things from their own place Clearly, she asked you not to use the items in the room carelessly and without authorization and to pay for the damage caused. The most serious thing about your review is your hateful words about Naples, you should be ashamed and we prefer not to comment on racism. we suggest a more civil behavior when you travel and do not use words like "hate" for dirty sheets or to avoid paying damages.

A brief stay in Napoli
Great location, very friendly and helpful people in check in, comfortable bed, clean, fridge (always handy in the heat), good air con. The only downside for me (my parents room was fine), was that the shower was like warm at best and then freezing and then like warm, without changing the dial. Also my tv did not work not that that was a big issue.

Nice experience
Nice apartment in a nice building, friendly staff and helpful! The only downside was the neighborhood, which is very noisy, and the light in one on the bedrooms which had an window on the staircase and couldn't be switched off.

Upon entry I was approached by a strange man who bantered at me in Italian. I expressed to him, in Italian, that I did not speak the language. This did not dissuade him from continuing paragraph after paragraph in Italian to me - which was uncomfortable, and eventually threatening. This was within the courtyard, he was there every day, and appeared to work for the place. Finally I found the correct door to enter, for customer service, on the second floor. No signs or clear direction. The lady there was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean, but small. Although it required 3 sets of keys, for three doors, to enter. Old-school keys that hardly worked in the locks. After finally finding my unit, it was very comfortable. The surrounding area is very dirty, and felt unsafe at night.

Good but could be better !
The building was very nice with a good elevator, and big street doors, but only a very small entrance with a big door step. Hard to carry big luggage over it , but the staff was helpful in this aspect. The room was spacious and quiet and also the bathroom. But there was no shower curtain or something separating the bath from the rest and also no drain so a lot of water stayed on the floor like a lake. The staff was helpful and nice . One thing we did not like was that the check out was at 10 30 in the morning and for late check out you had to pay 25 euros.

Wonderful Staff, Clean, Modern Unit
Hermes Inn’s wonderful, friendly staff, Simone, greeted us upon arrival at this modern, clean apartment hotel. He helped w/ luggage and was fast & efficient checking us in, making sure we are well informed about policies. Simone was very helpful with navigating the city, arranging for taxi/transport, and exceptionally cheerful and kind. The unit we stayed in was very roomy, exceptionally clean, temperature regulated according to personal choice with efficient split systems in every room, nice windows for letting in light. Safe, gated, convenient to walk to food, waterfront, city, and shops. I enjoyed my one night stay at Hermès Inn. I would stay again, for more days. The best part is if you’re traveling in a group or family, you can escape them. It was wonderful to shut the door on my grouchy travel companions and not hear or see them at all because they have their own wing on the other side of the unit with a private bathroom. My king bed was comfortable & zen. Very grateful for a night of cozy peace and privacy at Hermès. Improvements/feedback: -The city construction taking place outside the master bedroom was rather loud/annoying. -Make a free, later check out time for guests. 10:30 is really bad. Especially since construction noise is a nuisance. -Toilet in the 2nd bathroom needs a seat cover. -Toilet paper holders should be installed near each toilet, currently no holders, no place to put a roll, except on floor or bidet, which is unpleasant.

Amazing Hotel

Nice location, quite central to both sides of the city. A bit confusing to get to, but staff were nice and the room was nice. Had all the necessities, such as a minifridge and storage space, as well as a kettle. Would stay here again and would recommend!

Modern little spot
This is kind of a unique little hotel. It’s built into a older type building with a courtyard and a gate. The room was modern and tidy and the bed comfortable. It’s kind of difficult to say if it’s a good location as Naples is so big and spread out but there are some interesting neighborhoods in the area and the train station is a 15 minute walk away. Would definitely use again should I ever decide to come back to Naples ( rather unlikely as I wasn’t overly impressed with the city and its filthiness)

Good luck finding the check-in/registration. There are three buildings at the address and it’s located on the second floor of one of them. Unless you read all of the fine print, be prepared for a €50 cleaning fee to be added at check-in. Once in our room, we found more challenges.... the WiFi doesn’t reach to the master bedroom at all, the shower head is broken forcing you to hold the hand wand the entire time or turn the water off while you lather, and the “dining table” is much too tall for the chairs provided making it very awkward to eat.

Clean and safe apartment in a quiet neighbourhood.
I have to admit this place is clean and quiet. It is not easily accessible as the station is still under construction. From Train station you need ~400m walk. I reach early at 6am but due to the limited working hours of the reception (9.30am), i have to deposit my luggage so I can head to Pompeii. Other than that, I would think the staff are very friendly and helpful. They give you quite abit of tips what to do and where to head. Nice room too! Like most apartments in Italy, you possibly can hear outside, so dont speak too loud.

Bad experience no bed and breakfast no bar or communal area just 4 keys to 4 doors more like a prison than hotel,told it was dangerous at night had our 81 year old father with us spent a fortune in taxis to see things then back to room to stay in and watch a telly that was all in Italian, we were sure we booke sorento as we wouldn't book a city holiday especially a dirty one we were told they had a hotel in sorento that we could go to for a couple of days but at a cost of £250 which we declined,hotel charged us 65 euros for one way taxi that after asking several local taxis were told its 18-20 euros and complained but to no avail,this place is definitely the butt hole of Europe and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy and we are 100% sure we didn't book that one, we spent the first night looking for flights home but it was £225 plus cases so declined

Short but sweet stay at Hermes Inn. We had a little bit of a hard time trying to find it because we were expecting a huge sign. Lucia, our hostess, was very kind and showed us around Napoli with a map. She made sure that we were comfortable in our room. Location is walkable from train station and attractions. Room and bathroom were clean. Wifi worked great. Would definitely stay again.

A warm welcome to Napoli
I had a lovely stay at Hermes! Simone at reception was absolutely delightful. He gave me a warm welcome with few tips for good places in town. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious with minimal design, which I liked. The place is set inside a beautifully newly renovated periodic building, and it felt very safe. Another helpful aspect was that it was not more than 10 minute walk from Napoli centrale train station, which I found very handy and the night life was a stone throw away. I will be back!

On the edge of the action
Hermes in offers great apartments on the edge of Naples historic quarter. It is walkable to the major sights, just be aware of the constant stream of traffic, including the mopeds going in the seemingly wrong direction. Naples is a great city and Hermes inn provides comfort after a day of walking. Plus Netflix is on the tv and this felt like a bonus when we had tired legs at the end of a day!

Nice apartment near central Naples
The hotel was in a good location, close to downtown and to the train station, with food and shops not far away. Yet, it was not too noisy in the room. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful, and let us leave our luggage in the main room both before check-in and after check-out. When we first arrived, the hot water was not working; but, as soon as we told the staff, they immediately did everything they could to fix it and did so within a few minutes. And there was good wifi. So overall, it was a good stay.

Super clean room, great to location (walking distance to the train station and the port), friendly staff. Great value! Please note: There's no any big sign of this place when you arrive, so check the exact street address or call the reception if you can't find it. Also, if you need to check-out early, make sure to ask the staff how to check-out early as the reception is not open in early hours. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay and highly recommend Hermes Inn Apartments!

The accommodation is really well situated close to the Historic Centre and a shortish walk to the central station. It should cost around 20euros from the airport. It is very clean and modern and has the feel of an apartment. The staff are very polite and very pleasant. I would happily stay there again.

Davide was wonderful and very helpful. Room was extremely clean! Taxi ride to the airport is about 20 euros. I am not a huge fan of Naples, but this was a comfortable experience and is near the old Pizzeria da Michele.

Great hotel in a great location
Great location, close to the historical center. Very new rooms, in secluded courtyard, so no problem about noise. The only difficulty might be arriving at the wrong time when no one is on duty, so its important to communicate your likely arrival time to the staff. This was not a problem for us.
