The Lobby has been updated and modernized but nothing else above the 1st floor matches it.Various Owners since the late 90's; New Owner just took over 3wks ago. The Property needs some maintenance repairs and All rooms need updates. Very good complimentary breakfast. Some very nice staff persons, nice pool, nice gym !

The staff were super friendly and supportive, especially Dustin at the front desk. The property needs improvement, the beds are squeaky and the furniture very old. Definitely needs remodeling and improvements. Yet, the staff go above and beyond to give you a pleasant experience

So bad reviews were maybe accurate but it's better now and improving. More renovated rooms but not all of them yet. I opted for an older pre-renovated room. River view definitely better at the Grand Hotel but yes you can see it. Room was very clean; older furniture but not chewed. New carpet in hallways, so they are working it. Not quite the boutique hotel advertised but given some time they'll get there. I think the bar may be operational. A working kitchen would be great. Tables and space are there for a real restaurant. I'll be optimistic.

There was only one small trash can in the room and it was in the bathroom. There was mold in the shower/tub area. For a family of four we had to request extra towel and shower gel. Breakfast was well prepared and tasted great! We especially enjoyed having coffee and lemon water in the lobby.

Everything about this hotel was really nice. The transportation to the casino was nice. The staff was nice. I love the bar and the breakfast. OMG it was delicious. It was a home-cooked breakfast meal. I think I gave him five stars for the meal because the meal was so great location is great. It’s right there by the casino and it’s very historical so I love it.

This property seems to be in the midst of a change in ownership/management and is a work in progress. The lobby and pool area are nice and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. However the room was dated and the bathroom was in need of paint and repairs to the walls. The closet area also needed work. The “river view” was only seen when standing at the window and looking a hard left - not the scenic view described. I’ve stayed in better and I’ve stayed in worse but this was certainly not the level you would expect for the price.

Staff is great and place is clean. But for the price I paid it really needs some updating did too the rooms or the room I was in. My room was 250 the night I stayed. Room was cleaned but bathroom ceiling had stains from where it seems to be a water leak and was messed up a little in that spot. To be a up scale hotel of a casino. That’s just something you don’t suppose to see. Other than that everything was great. The view, customer service, breakfast and etc. But get them rooms updated Magnolia Bluff Casino Hotel!

The staff was above and beyond friendly. However for a Saturday night and weekend the bar was not open and didn’t plan on it. We were told we could shuttle to the Casino for use of that bar. The breakfast was stocked and had a fresh variety. The room could use a good cleaning. The shower was dirty and behind the bathroom door had mold spots on the floor so you could tell it had not been mopped or scrubbed. For $200 a night I was not impressed
