The hotel is very nice. Staff is friendly. Room was very clean. Upgrades to hotel are nice. I was shocked at check in when i found out they were putting a 250.00 hold on my card. No, that is not a typo. Get ready. If you stay at The Bridges they put a 250.00 hold on your card until you check out. Unless you have another card you can use, as i am thankful that i did, you just lost 250.00 of your shopping, eating, or whatever you came to town to do. When i checked out i asked when the hold would come off. That depends on your bank, but then i was shocked once again when she told me she would have to go up to my room on the 3rd floor to check it before they release the hold. So i waited, not long, but i have never had to wait for them to check my room before I could leave. The stay was nice, room was clean, all was good, but the 250.00 hold is too much. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in Natchez and I didn't have a 250.00 hold put on my money like that. I used my points to get a great rate on the room. That made it so expensive to stay there that i felt like i had wasted them.
