"The staff was very friendly and welcoming however we booked this hotel for the indoor pool. We asked the hours the pool was open upon checking in and were told 7am-10pm. With that being said we were excited to use the pool with our children. Friday evening, the pool was “closed” for a swim school. They allowed my children to swim in one very small section (after we made it a point that it was bs) and when they started acting like children (ex: laughing, yelling, jumping in the pool) the swim school “instructor” proceeded to scream at them very aggressively. It was completely uncalled for and not okay. Not a fun time for 3 7 year old boys. Then, the following morning our plan was to swim after breakfast before our plans for the day. Well, the pool was closed again for “swimming lessons”. They made it known and my children were only allowed in the hot tub. While I understand that a swim school “rented” the pool out, this should have been on the website at booking. The hours the pool are available to PAYING guests should be listed. I would not have stayed here if I knew the pool would be closed not one but twice within our 24 hour stay. "

"My room had no heat. The temperature was 39 degrees. The front desk had no attendant. When I called the business number of the guest house, she told me she was out of town. She told me to take a room on the third floor, which was very difficult, as I have a gait disorder. There is no elevator. I was visiting an old friend who lives in the neighborhood and he brought me a space heater for the next two nights of my 3-night stay.
