Even though I informed them about the situation and the trouble we were going through, they called me disrespectful, canceled my reservation as a “no-show,” and charged me a penalty — leaving me, my husband, and my son stranded in the middle of nowhere without a place to stay for the night. I am deeply grateful to the kind local people who helped us, but I would never recommend anyone to stay here. I’ll make sure my experience is shared everywhere tourists might look, so no one else goes through this nightmare. I felt robbed and mistreated — especially shocking in a region known for its warmth and hospitality. "
