"Great hotel, would definitely stay here again. Came with our family of four, stayed after a Padres game. It’s right across the street and walking distance to so many restaurants."

"The staff at the hotel are very nice and have great customer service! However, the room was very small and smelled musty. The ac did not work, our room was very warm. The shower drain did not work. There was also no bar or food at the hotel. After exploring the area there are so many nice hotels around the area I would pick one of those instead of this one."

A few negatives we did notice: Being located on a balcony room did have some noise that reached us from the restaurants and bars below. We did get a few ants in our room. As for parking - the fee to self park or valet are extremely ridiculous. You should be aware that it's a very high fee of $90-100/per day. "

"They offer parking in the under ground garage and at ground level. The garage is very scary and has junkies lingering. The parking on ground level was nicely lit and 15.00 a night. The entire facility is very old and run down. The beds were clean and comfy but the floor had not been swept in a very long time. We literally had to wear shoes at all times. Our room had no towels at check in. We called at 3pm letting them know. They promised to send them up. We went shopping and came back around 7. Still no towels. The guy said yeah i think i have a few. I will send them up right away. Still no towels by bedtime. The next day we stopped at the desk after a long day at the beach. The guy simply said i have 2 i can give you. The guys behind us in line had the same exact interaction. As our stay went on we noticed multiple sketchy people and prostitutes so we eventually wondered if they don't supply them due to b this reason. Literally a group of junkies riding up and down the elevator doing drugs. Every ice machine on the property is broken so we had to buy ice at the very very sketchy gas station next door. Please do not bring kids here. Pay 40.00 more a night and get away from National City. We will never stay anywhere near this city again. This hotel has simply surrendered. "
