"Started and of course ended my trip in Sri Lanka here. The only bad thing was that my expectations for the other hotels/hostels/home stays got to high. My best nights were at this hotel. Breakfast is the best, the owner is originally from the UK. Free water, good prices in the restaurant and great food and assortment. Since a traveled by myself I got great help planning the start of my trip in Sri Lanka as well."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waterland. It is convenient for the airport but in a quiet spot, situated by the river. It is beautiful. We had a great private villa with a good size pool. The staff and service were excellent. In particular Raganan was brilliant and looked after us very well. Incredibly good value for money and a short Tuk Tuk ride into Negombo town. "

"Our stay at Ziegler Cottage was truely remarkable. It can only be described as a little piece of paradise. A truely beautiful place where I could relax in a way I haven't for years & as a result I think I healed. The spectacular garden backs onto the beach & we saw the most incredible sunsets.
