Comfort Inn & Suites Black River Falls I-94

10/10 Excellent

"Our Late check in (10:30pm) was amazing and the pool/hot tub were amazing and was open until midnight which was so nice. Staff was great. Our only complaint was that the room had no air conditioning unit that we could change and it overlooked the pool area and the room was very hot. Like, sleep over all covers type of hot. I have never in the last 10 years stayed in a room with no air conditioning and it was surprising. My husband couldn't believe it. We like to sleep around 66 at night and the room was sweltering in the summer heat but we thought maybe because it was pool side? Where the air conditioning wall typically is placed in hotels instead it was a sliding door to the pool area with a cute little chair and patio instead. Cute, but if sleeping at a desired temp is your thing, I would double check before booking rooms here. But that said, our stay overall was nice and it was the Fourth of July weekend! So many hotels were already sold out. I did love it's proximity to a Perkins and gas stations as well. Overall, our stay was a solid 7/10."
