Hi Miles,I am disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations.As a small property we do not provide an onsite reception, but have processes and communications to facilitate contactless checkin. These processes works quite well when guests fully read and action our correspondence as requested. Even when guests arrive at the property without completing the the pre-check in tasks, we aim to facilitate the check in process as quickly and efficiently as possible.The room you were allocated is our accessible room, which includes accessible features such as a roll in shower, hence the shower curtain instead of screen.Whilst some elements of the room and bathroom are a little dated, it provides a new kitchette, carpet, bed and curtains.The room provides a private courtyard with plenty of natural light and block out curtains.Your stay was during a very busy school holiday period, and we feel that the price charged during that period still provide very good value for money.RegardsNelson Towers Motel & Apartments.

Hi Jay,We operate our motel without onsite reception. Our systems and processes ensure guests can check in and out without issue and are attended during the day by our onsite cleaners. As advised at checkin, the rooms are only serviced if the appropriate sign is hung on the room door.I am sorry if you found me to be abusive or rude, but you rang several times and were yelling and screaming down the phone. We do not tolerate abuse, either in person or on the phone. You were told to calm down if you expected me to continue talking to you. I also had complaints from other guests that you were abusive and rude to them in the car park.You have been blacklisted from returning to our property.RegardsStephenNelson Towers Motel & Apartments.

Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to post this review. We are aware of the broken soap dish and are working on getting it fixed. My apologies for neglecting to mention it during check in. We have installed hand held shower heads that can be adjusted, moved or removed from the cradle. They are installed high to ensure everyone fits under them and can enjoy water from above. Hi John, I am disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations. I am even more disappointed that you have now written two reviews that are extremely harsh, and haven't recognised a single positive aspect of your stay or our accommodation. As you are aware, the room that you were in has recently undergone a refurbishment, with new kitchen cabinetry, carpet, furniture and electrical items. We recognise that we still have some more work to do, but to say that it is tired, dowdy and very grubby is just down right wrong. Our prime position across from the Marina is of course going to be subject to some pedestrian and street noise, particularly at busy times. The property didn't meet your expectations, which is fine, we can't be all things to all people. Better luck in choosing accommodation that meets your expectation in the future.
