"Excellent location, great room, comfy bed, helpful staff, incredible eating options right in the hotel. I will definitely stay here again when next in Nelson. For traveller info, there is no parking at the hotel but there is a parade next door. Easy to pay online and it is inexpensive. All 3 restaurants on site are fantastic. You can walk anywhere from this hotel. Hallway noise can be an issue due to the age of the hotel so pack earplugs if you are sensitive to sound."

"The lady at the check-in desk is friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Room is a bit smaller than typical - adequate for 1 person, might be a bit small for 2 people. Sounds (voices, TV) in the next room can be heard through the wall, just the sounds, not the words. Otherwise, this motel is quiet. Overall, it is a nice place to stay and I would stay again."
