"Lovely Clean Hotel with every amenity you may need for an enjoyable stay, warm welcome on arrival, the rooms are bright and airy with beds that are just so comfortable, would highly recommend a stay."
"Waste of my time submitting a review you so r post? Hotels.com? A waste of time.Turned up at our hotel and the entry code didn’t work. Because someone had changed the lock. Rang the number given on the email and spoke to a very unhelpful man who said he couldn’t do anything for me unless I had an eight figure code which I had to get from Hotel.com. I tried searching the emails while he was on the line but had no 4G coverage so couldn’t open the attachments. Rang the given number again twice and both times got hung up on. By this time we were starting to wonder if we’d been scammed. My wife then rang and spoke to Noor who was brilliant. He said they’d tried to contact us (not sure how true that was) but we were not going to be staying at Villa Rose because of some technical issues at the hotel but would now be at The Carlton. This wasn’t ideal as we’d booked the Villa Rose to be near the Wetherspoons pub and the new hotel was a twenty minute walk away. However, The Carlton gave us two twin rooms and it was an okay hotel.
