"The room was clean but you could tell when you walked into it that it had some sort of smell to it, thankfully you don’t notice it after a few minutes. I got some things from the vending machine and they were clearly expired/stale, I ended up buying more at the front desk and when I mentioned it to them they seemed like that was just how it always was. There were no towels available to be used at the pool when we got there (which wasn’t that late, it was around 6 pm), and when I went to use the men’s bathroom near the lobby it smelled quite bad and the seats looked disgusting. Also when walking back to my room at night I saw a small roach on the wall, very close to the lobby. At one point my partner found an ant on the floor of the room but other than those no signs of bugs. Also in the room’s bathroom the vinyl floor was warping and ill-fitted.
The breakfast was quite good though as far as hotel breakfasts go, and they even had a waffle and parfait bar. The man restocking the food was very friendly and nice, we appreciated him."
