It was hard getting in and out of the property no one wanted the cameras you had to wait 5 to 10 minutes to get to your room once you got in the driveway need to pay better attention to the cameras and the people that's coming in and out

The suite was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Zoe was super helpful with the check in and parking, plus answered all our questions.We took our teenager for spring break( her choice). We had our private area, she had hers and we shared a common area. We had a little difficulty with one TV and Alveres was there instantly to solve the problem. I would recommend to any and all. The balcony outside is fantastic. Great for people watching.

We had a suite good for two couples. Easy walk to busier streets . Convenience store next door with great food. Staff was helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to eat in New Orleans

I liked the walking distance to Bourbon St. Our first room was very dirty and we had to change rooms. The second room had hair on the bathroom walls and in the bed. The cleanliness was very disappointing!! The elevator was rattling and surety. The pools were also dirty. The pictures presented online didn’t show the actual building and condition.

Not as expected
The bathroom was to small. There was no place to hang your robe or no place to put your personal items when you were cleaning up for the day. The room was damp and had a musty smell and the floors were cold. That toom was not my ideal of a suite, all it had was two beds no chair or sofa.

The phone in my room did not work, i had to go down to the lobby to eat my own towels, they had no ice machine/water. They had a small container that held ice water all the way in the lobby. Would not stay here again.

Terrible checkout experience
Checking out had an enormous line with 1 person insisting that they had to physically check you out. You couldn't just leave the key and leave even if you had prepaid. Almost missed our tour because of the hotel check out ! Hotel could use at least new upholstery and change in bed linen.

False advertisement. I got a room that is not a suite. The worst room I ever stayed at, the tub was clogged. My friend had to shower in dirty water. They say 24 hrs customer service - no one ever answered the phone when I call the front desk (this is before midnight) Not in my room I paid for: Cookware, dishware, and utensils Microwave Refrigerator Separate living room Television Free toiletries

The French Quarter Hotel is actually closed/superseded/checked in through the next door Courtyard hotel (?) as the buildings are connected. Address listed is vacant. Our hotel room was in the industrial garage and right next to the laundry room; noise level was high from employees and customers. Lastly, we had to make an early morning airport run and found a squatter sleeping outside our room. Not secure.

The close proximity to nightlife is really the only highlight to this property. It’s older and I was ok with that when I booked thinking as long as it’s well maintained but they only cleaned the room once while there for a 6 day stay. Had to ask several times for extra blankets, the first person replied with he was the only employee there and would try to get to it. Another employee brought them to us after asking again...the next day. The noise level can only be described as frustrating. Banging, rolling carts going by all the time which I would understand more if they actually serviced the rooms. When you’re trying to sleep at 7 am it’s more than annoying. It was nice having A full kitchen, but there were no paper towels provided. Had to ask for toilet tissue at one point. Overall I was disappointed. I also chose this place for a girls trip thinking we would save not having to Uber everywhere since it was close enough to walk to most of the things we wanted to do but were advised by the staff on check in to be careful at night and ended up ubering everywhere after dark bc of the area.

Quaint little hotel. We expected things to be a bit older but not dirty. I used a shirt as a pillow case, slept in pants and socks (so not to touch the sheets), wouldn't take a shower because the shower was dirtier than I was. There were stains on both beds - one had blood on it. Would have left and got a refund had the hotel allowed it. Charged $40 for parking instead of the stated $25 because of a "special event." PLEASE! That's ridiculous. I guess for New Orleans this place is acceptable but I will never be back.

Utterly disappointing for the price paid, which I can only assume was inflated because of the bowl game and New Years being so close to our stay.The photos and write-up made this sound like a good quality solution to be downtown but not too close to the noise of the French Quarter at night. The property looks infinitely worse than the photos, and the interior of our particular suite was generally tidy, but dated. The bathroom was absolutely horrendous. Mold, cracked toilet, broken or missing towel racks, long stands of hair in tub and on floor. Dusty cover the louvered blinds in windows. I would never stay there again, and I would certainly do more research on any property on other web servers before using the Expedia site alone.

The property has nice old New Orleans charm. However, the common areas were not very clean. The bedroom was relatively clean. The furniture was very old. However, for the price and proximity to everything I would probably stay again.

It is a beautiful old building, but they don't tell you in advance that is a $25dollar parking per day,plus they hold $150 deposit for damages, they should say it at front when you reserve,and also we had problems with hot water in the shower.

The building was nice I like the old original look about it. But that’s all it had going for it. The beds were hard and VERY uncomfortable. When asked for room service while we were gone got back to our room door unlocked. The ac/heater didn’t work. And parking isn’t included with the price of the room. You pay $25 a day to park in a unlocked area and my husbands new truck ended up all scratched up. And they wouldn’t let us look at video to see who was responsible. And last but not least the staff was rude. So spend the money and stay else where cause the beauty of the building isn’t worth it!

The hotel was quaint and cozy. Some of the help staff wasn’t very friendly but overall it was a nice place. Close the Quarter, which was our main objective for this trip.
