I had to wait 15 mins for a remote … then I flushed the toilet and the entire thing overflew all over the floor. The room smells bad when you go in. Homeless people sleeping in front of the hotel.

The thing that most stood out was that our beddings had not been changed prior to our arrival. Makeup on the pillow cases, hair on the sheets. We then received sheets so we can make the bed that didn't fit. So our first night, we slept on a bare mattress.

The property was within walking distance of Bourbon Street for enjoyment of all the activities, shops, and dining. Yet it is far enough away, to avoid the noise. Breakfast was good, included eggs, one meat, and a potato or biscuits (no gravy or sauce) yogurt and fresh fruit, along with the usual toast and bagels. We decided not to rent a car due parking costs. Uber and Lyft were readily available.

The Home Suites by Hilton is a fine hotel for your stay. The rooms were clean, I had no trouble with anything in the rooms at all. The early check in fee is a bit high, but otherwise, I think it's in a good location. Everything is in walking distance of where you want to go or close to the trolly

I liked the location. Very walkable to Burbon St, Louis Armstrong Park and other activities but not so congested on this street. The entire staff AND other guests were so nice. I'd stay here again!

Had early check in, had to pay $50 for early check in. Went to room. It was dirty still. Dishes still in dishwasher, sock under mattress. I complained and got a shrug downstairs. Asked for room to be cleaned on Wednesday, placed on the service and it was not cleaned. We were there from Monday to Saturday. So asked for it to be done Thursday and was told/informed “we were in service for Friday” and not Thursday. When I complained about not being done on Wednesday another shrug shoulder, asked for manager to call; never did. Room serviced on Friday, but no clean towels or wash rags left, linens wasn’t changed and we had to call for toilet paper. Also we went to use pool on Monday night, it was cold water (not heated) and pool was dirty. The work out room was nice. Never did find the mini golf part of hotel. At breakfast, one morning, another couple and I asked for plates since there wasn’t any and was told they didn’t have anymore plates. Stood around for 15minutes before she reached above a cabinet and dragged out plates for us to use. There was still 1.5 hours left of breakfast to be served. I asked to have manager call me, I wanted manager to talk to at checkout and manager wasn’t there. And never did hear from Manager.

I enjoyed the property. We asked for extra towels and they were quickly provided. I would have liked extra pillow for fold out bed. Fold out should be inspected more often it was in poor condition. The property itself was well maintained and pleasant. A true value near the Sanger Theater. Staff was very friendly and do New Orleans justice lots of local recommendations.

The location, only 1 block walk from the French Quarter was very convenient. The hotel is quiet and safe. Valet parking only at $48 per night, but they were quick to bring the car. It was nice having a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and 2 burner electric cooktop. We were able to bring back doggie bags and enjoy them at our leisure! The room was clean but we didn't have enough towels or toilet paper. We had to ask for toilet paper 3x while there. They handed us only 1 roll at a time.We noticed that the bottom sheet was not clean and asked for a new bottom sheet, which they did supply, but the sheet was too small for the king mattress and kept coming up on the edges. The breakfast was not bad, it is open between 6:30am and 9:30am. There were eggs, potatoes, some type of sausage, ham or bacon, bread, bagels, cereals and fruit. There is only 1 four slice toaster so, needless to say, there was a line every morning to use it. They should have done basic scrambled eggs instead of trying to do omlettes or breakfast casserole. The cheese was not of the best quality, scrambled eggs would have been better! All that being said, we would stay there again. The staff was very helpful and nice and the hotel is in a great location. Oh, there is an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it.

The hotel and the room were very new and clean. The view of the French Quarter from the room was really nice. Breakfast was enjoyable, but you had to go early to get bacon before it ran out. We had fun playing billiards. There is only valet parking available, which costs $50. However, it might be better than searching for a safe and convenient parking lot.

Out of a seven day stay we only received one room cleaning. I will say that when we called for extra towels and pillows we did receive our order quite quickly so they were efficient that way, but I would’ve liked my room clean more days..

Location is perfect for being in the heart of the French Quarter. Unfortunately the French Quarter does not feel safe anymore. Homeless people everywhere. Rooms are adequate, but definitely not Hilton standards. Hot breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

While the rooms were big,comfortable, and nice,the only thing i would rate as terrible was the so called breakfast buffet.I would not call it a buffet as it was very very limited.The food was terrible. It was like everything was frozen food heated in a microwave. The eggs ,link sausage were like rubber with no flavor.Just a lousy breakfast.Certainly not what we expected. Also the little kiosk where they sold snacks and sodas were outrageously priced.A coke was $4.93... Will not stay here again,though the hotel itself was nice. Valet only parking and $48.a day.

The Good: Friendly staff, clean rooms, good location, overall good value. Safe for families. They have a fun mixer with snacks on Wednesday nights. The Bad: there is a streetcar in the picture, so you would think it’s going to have convenient transportation. Nope. The streetcars only run to Canal and Bourbon street so you’re gonna walk, a lot. Parking is very safe but it’s $45 dollars a day/$65 if they deem your vehicle oversized. There is an area on the outside of the building that people have urinated (or worse) in. This area is not cleaned and it’s gross and smelly when you need to walk by. Breakfast is supposed to be until 9:30. If you go down at 9:10 and all the food is gone the only thing they restock is bread. This was ridiculous, breakfast until 9:30 means that there should still be food until 9:30.

Breakfast was fair. Omelets were always cold. Fruit was always depeleted, no matter when we went. Housekeeping was very responsive when we needed something. Front desk was great also

The property was located in a quiet area but close to all the action in the French Quarter. Very walkable! Would have been perfect if there was a supermarket close by for essentials as we were staying for a week, without car, and didn’t feel like eating out every day for lunch & dinner (obviously, not a deal breaker). Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Shout out to Dave & Glenn at the concierge desk! Had a wonderful time & would definitely book again👍😀! Great value for the price!

Poor experience overall. Rooms were not available at the stated check in time due to not being cleaned yet. This required waiting in the lobby for 1 hours after their stated check in time. Hotel staff was not helpful and were rude. Valet staff was even more rude. The free breakfast was so low quality that we were unable to eat it. And there was no designated pet relief area, even though they claim to be a pet friendly hotel. Very disappointing for a Hilton family hotel.

Property was well kept and mostly inline with my expectations from the brand. Great location and walkable for entertainment, dinning and shopping. My only down was on cleanings of room; they lacked detail in the restroom; they missed taking out the kitchen trash twice. Again facilities are nice and the breakfast was great; they just need to connect back to details.
