"I wish they had more bacon options. They clean every other day. Staff was phenomenal. No fireplace in my hotel at the Suite 2 Hampton Inn in Nee York!"

"Room was disgusting. It was really dirty, stains on the carpet, large wet spot on the carpet, air vent covered in dust, unidentified body fluids next to tp holder, light switches with caked on grime, ect. Management and staff were very nice. The manager was very apologetic offering us a few options of different rooms which was very nice but I was grossed out. We actually left and went and stayed in the hotel we stayed in previously."

"Great location. Could use some free coffee in the lobby and faster elevator. Staff was great and rooms are clean. They have coin laundry machine on site."

"Water pressure was poor, room smelled like cigarettes (and I don’t smoke) and got worse anytime the air or heat was turned on, and bed was hard & uncomfortable. While it visually appealing, it was an uncomfortable stay. Also, my check-in was at 3p but room wasn’t ready until 5:00p."

"I had a mixed experience at Hotel St. James. On the positive side, the hotel was clean, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is definitely a major highlight, just half a block from Times Square, which made it incredibly convenient for getting to shows and exploring the city. That said, the room itself had some significant comfort issues. The temperature was difficult to deal with. It felt hot and stuffy the entire time, and there was no thermostat or any way to control it. The shower was also frustrating, as the water temperature constantly shifted from hot to cold every few seconds, no matter how I adjusted the knobs. Overall, the location and staff were great, but the lack of temperature control made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. I kept reminding myself that I was in NYC for the experience, not the hotel."
