The check in experience was a little frustrating because when walking the attendant automatically said sold out but we had reservations. The room was really small. But we made the best of it.

The location is great but that’s where that ends. The hotel in under construction and is loud and dirty. But I am guessing this is for good reason as we stayed in a room the smelled like wet socks and the carpet was discusting! We had to wear our shoes in the room and even the shoes would stick to the floor. The staff was nice and answered all of our questions but in this price range I would look elsewhere until they finish the remodel.

I will say the room was really clean including the bathroom. The place is not in the best of neighborhoods, meaning it's not the worst neighborhood I've been in but not like you will see a Starbucks or anything upscale. I felt safe, basically I was only there to shower and sleep. I had someone with me so I felt safer. The hotel could use some updates, paint, newer curtains but I was surprised how clean my room was and the bathroom was actually spotless. No stains on the curtains either. The check in people were very nice and all smiles which I liked. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were really white. I inspected everything and still did a bleach wipe down but I would do this even at a 5 star hotel. I would stay again because of the cleanliness. I'd rather stay in a clean place than something upscale that is filthy. Check out was great too and I will say Expedia charges you the exact price and I was happy about that because other sites put a $200 or $300 hold on your card so I will be using Expedia from now on.

Ac /heat wasn't working properly, safe didn't work but they fixed it but room temperature was ether hot or cold, bedding had stains on it , room was small in closet you couldn't hang anything an less the close was children size.

Not worth the money.
Breakfast was good. Coffee maker in the room. Towels and shampoo/soap present. Room was not ready when I arrived at 4: 30 PM . I have to wait until it got ready.The hallways smells.Bathroom was not clean with hair on floor, bathroom door was stained. HEAT WAS NOT WORKING. They have a space heater to heat the room. I left it on all the time, I was afraid that it could catch fire.Weak wifi signal. Despite presence of front disk receptionist, building side door was open and I came through it directly to the room. They insisted to copy my driver license !!

Hotel was clean. I believe a lot of rooms are filled with people who live at the hotel, so I felt like I was intruding. Everyone seemed to know everyone. Everyone was friendly but I felt like I stuck out as someone new.

Great little hotel, close to Coney Island Boardwalk. You couldn't really walk but there was a great car service that took us back and forth for $8. The rooms were a bit small but nice and clean. There was also a great little breakfast. The staff were helpful and nice. Would definitely stay there again.
