Amazing new york hotel. So much character and the staff we just lovely. We were there during a renovation and it was lovelynso i can only imagine what it would be like once finished. 100% recommend.

Location was very convenient. Room and bathroom seemed a bit dated (strong mold / mildew odor in bathroom). Fire alarm at 4 AM on a Sunday morning probably did not help the rating.

Our first room the AC was not operating properly and we had a tough first night, but the following day they moved me promptly. Great staff and classic euro vibe. Deluxe Queen was small, but nice and efficient. Very satisfied.

Hotel is tastefully furnished and amenities welcomed. This is one of the best areas in NY to stay with walking to the best restaurants and areas. The original building is beautiful and worth the resulting small rooms and slow elevator. We’ll be back.
