We have absolutely nothing negative to say about The Chanler! What a beautiful hotel right on the Cliff Walk. The staff was the best we’ve encountered in our many travels. Our room was spotless each day. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Newport.

Charming property, brilliantly situated at the beginning of the famous Cliff Walk. The unique decor of our room (Mediterranean) added to the ambiance, and the dining room and bar area were comfortable and romantic. Menus were varied and delectable and the service was impeccable.

We have stayed at a lot of properties in Newport, but I would rate the chandlers staff as by far the best. We chose to stay on property most of the time and enjoyed getting to know Ray, Paige, Kevin, Julia, our waiter from both nights and the night lady who took over from Paige. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable and took great care of us during our time.

We stayed at The Chanler to celebrate a recent engagement. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel very special. They gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. I can’t imagine a better hotel experience and plan on returning soon.
