We went to a comdey show at The Newtown Theatre. A block and a half walk away. Alot to do in the area. Great Places to eat. And, We were also given the tip to try the Homemade cookies from The Hardware Store. Bought 2 bags👍👍 Would stay here again and higjly recommend.

An antique in need of a little love upstairs- but very clean and nice management. I really love being able to be I the hub of town and in a storied corner of Newtown.

An historic property that is clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar (Roccos) is excellent. Had the honey glazed salmon with creamed leeks, and potatoes. The heat in the room was strong, the bed comfortable and plenty of hot water. In the hall way on the second floor is coffe and water. Extra towels, water, and toilet paper also are in a glass cabinet in the hall. The town of Newton is walkable and quaint. It's not far from New Hope and Washington's Delaware crossing, Peddlers Village, and many wineries.

Quaint. Comfortable. Did a reasonably good job at preserving the 1700's era vibe but with modern conveniences. Wouldn't say it was high end but for the cost it was more than adequate

I enjoed my stay at the Brick hotel! We stayed in room 301. It was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. You could hear the noise from outside but that didn't bother us. It was also a very easy check-in and felt very private. We will definetly be staying again!

Horrible hotel
The room we had (302) was horrible.The floor was so slanted I would consider it a safety issue. I got out of bed and lost my balance due to the floor being so uneven. The temperature was hard to control, possibly because the knob was broken on one of the controls. The noise from the restaurant was too much for me. It went on until after midnight and you could heat every clink of the dishes being cleared. No sleep at all. I couldn’t wait to get out of this place.

Nice old hotel,well kept but without guest service
Lovely old hotel with plenty of character. Not a very high quality mattress. No actual front desk or designated hotel entrance, we had to use the restaurant entrance and found an envelope with our keys and a note to sign in.

Newtown is a really nice walkable town. The inn is convenient because it’s right in town and near everything. The inn overall is historic and charming and the restaurant in it is great. The problem is the rooms. They have paper thin walls so you can hear everything. We listened to our neighbors conversation as if they were in our room! Also the heating system is old and not efficient. Because of this, each room has a space heater to use. Some other little oddities because of the age of the inn. Overall good for one night but I wouldn’t stay any longer.

we had a quaint room above a fine dining establishment which we adored because it was not a cookie-cutter hotel room. If you want to stay somewhere different, near great food, and you don’t mind steps or the buzz of voices and music from below, give this place a try. We would go back.

I like staying historic inns and hotels. This was a nice historic hotel. However, I felt that more attention has been given to the restaurant on the property than to the hotel. Check in was getting my key from the restaurant staff--there was nothing separate for the hotel. I also felt that the hotel area and my room were a bit run down and had not been given the careful attention that the restaurant clearly had been given.

Thank you for the feedback and staying with us All the rooms and entire hotel has been updated in last 3 years its sqeaky clean. We are a simple hotel with very clean rooms. "Fancy" we agree we are not.But clean and simply decorated we are.We pride ourselves in a very clean simple environment The restaurant is very busy and is one of the top restaurants in bucks county and Philly area so the high volume. People love the fact that guest just signs in and takes the key to the room. Quick and simple Check in !! No other hotel offers such a quick east check in. So we are told umpteen times by guests

Website when I reserved said breakfast was included; it was not. When I turned the shower water on, black soot came out in the water. No temperature control in the room; was very very hot all night. Windows don't open. Wasn't the best experience.

Sorry. About your experience. We have on our website breakfast is not available. Booking online some website booking places fail to update their information. We run the water in each room before check ins. So not sure what happened there The heat can be turned off in each room. A ND there is a small space heater in each room for an alternative Thank you

Quaint hotel
This hotel is very quaint. We attended a wedding at the Rose Bank Winery so the location of this hotel was perfect. The restaurant, Rocco’s, was right downstairs and an excellent place to have drinks and appetizers before the wedding. We also went back to the bar after the wedding. The food is phenomenal at Rocco’s. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a quick trip. It felt like you were staying at a friend’s house rather than a hotel. The owner was lovely and accommodated our request for an early check-in. Overall, I would recommend The Brick Hotel for a night away!

La propiedad es antigua pero se mantiene limpio y agradable. Muy tranquilo y sin ningún inconveniente. Mi novio y yo nos quedamos en la habitación número 200, la vista era hacia el parqueo, probablemente la peor vista del hotel y la cama algo pequeña para dos personas. La verdad apenas hicimos estancia así que eso no nos importó. Igualmente lo recomiendo.

Quaint old-style rooms that are utilitarian. No carpet and an area rug would have made this much more comfortable. Great bar downstairs and this hotel did have parking for us, which was nice. Good price.

Thank you. We are old builing 265 years. So not much can be done to renovate. We have brand new bathrooms. Hardwood floors. Rooms have been done. But we are a bit old fashioned in the way it is.

It’s old, rooms are okay bed was great. No one checked us in or out. Did not like the valet parking, it was part of the restaurant they should just have spots for the hotel guests. Newtown is a wonderful place to visit we had a great time. We would stay again the pricing was a good deal. The chef that made the to die for veal filet is amazing and everything we ate was really tasty but that filet our waitress was the sweetest. Thank you
