"The place was busy due to the ski season and many seasonal workers stayed there, so night time could be quite noisy. There is also a kitchen on site offering simple buffet breakfast at a cheap price and other dining options for lunch/dinner. The staff members were very friendly and helpful; there were complimentary coffee and tea at the common area 24/7, a TV and a large lounge to chill at. The kitchen was quite packed but they have air fryers which could be very useful. The room we stayed in is central-heated. Close to National Park and Whakapapa, this place is good for a short stay."

"Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, and very useful kitchen facilities for our family. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but the complimentary 30-minute spa session was a great bonus. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good option for families."
