This was my 3rd time staying here, great location a few min walk from the train and bus terminal, warm comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, it's a shame they changed the breakfast service, the curry and rice were excellent before... I'd definitely recommend eating at yuba komachi while in Nikko, delicious chicken cutlet curry, very good price and lovely staff, 2 min walk from the hotel

The stay was great. Mae sure you get a really soft pillow because there was a long hard pillow in the bed. You were allowed to get another pillow. I recommend it. Otherwise this was a great hotel and close to train

닛코역에서 정말 가깝고 직원 분들이 친절하십니다!! 다만 방이 난방을 틀어도 좀 춥다는 게 약간의 단점입니다. 제가 가본 호텔 중 가장 이불이 부드러웠고, 아침으로 나오는 빵과 커피는 하루를 시작하기에 좋았습니다.

Hotel is close to train station and the bus area. Lots of shops nearby including a supermarket, Lion D’Or. The hotel provided a very simple breakfast, a tray that included 1 full slice of bread, a bun, 1 boiled egg, salad, juice and coffee/tea. The room was adequate size for japan standards, but we only had 1 suitcase. It may be a bit more difficult with 2 open suitcases.

The location was convenient, just a few blocks from the train/bus stations, supermarket, and main street. The room, however, was very basic, not having real furnishings except for the chair. The desk and bedside “table” looked like something quickly put together for fun by my woodworking husband. There was a lack of electric outlets (a hair dryer in the bathroom but no outlet to plug it into, in the bathroom or entryway), there wasn’t even a full length mirror, or a hook on the door to hang a towel. The shower and sink faucet was all in one, so couldn’t use the sink if the shower is being used. The air conditioning decided to change itself from cooling to heating on our second night, and the system wouldn’t allow me to change it back to cooling, but good thing we could open the window to let fresh air in during the night.

Decent hotel at a convenient location

This hotel is a short walk from Tobu-Nikko station. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. The room was typical sized as other hotels in Japan. It’s comfortable. The staff were friendly. They have lockers for guests to use before check-in and after check-out which is very convenient. The breakfast, however, was very basic consisting of a small salad, a boiled egg, and 2 pieces of bread with butter and jelly. Hope they consider improving on that.

Room is very small and don’t have a long mirror in the room. They only provide a small mirror where I have to bend down to apply my face lotion. Room is clean and location is excellent in downtown, opposite the Nikko Tobu station. Hotel is quite new with complimentary breakfast. Air conditioning is working great and after checking out, we can still store our luggage until it’s time to catch the train. Only setback is upon checking in, they should inform us that breakfast is complimentary.I only found out about it, when I read the notes on the table in the room
