"They said breakfast ends at 10 am but wasn’t serving any at 9am. Claims no smoking but the hotel room smelled like straight cigarettes. Didn’t let us know we had to pay a $125 deposit "

"We had a comfortable room with plenty of space. We especially liked the walk-in shower. There was a table with two chairs and another padded chair. There was a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was a selection of pastries, muffins, fruit, cereals and coffee and juice. No hot meal was offered. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel."

"Only 1 working elevator during my stay, no tissues, hand soap or water cups available in the room. Parking was gated, but access to the gated area required a call to the front desk, which was not explained upon check in. "

"Hot tub was out of order. Room was clean, nice, small patio looking out to the marina. No boats in the slips, but nice nonetheless. Great sunrise and sunsets. Breakfast was decent. They had make your own waffles (2 machines), bagels, breakfast pastries, yogurt, oj, cranberry juice, milk, chocolate milk, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, fruit cups, Toast, butter, jam, hard boiled eggs. "

"The hotel is generally great. I’m a retired airline pilot, and I’ve stayed at a ton of Hiltons and a host of other places. I have to address the noise from the airport: of course, jet engines are noisy. Hilton Bayshore has the perfect ‘white noise’ machine right in the rooms in the form of an in-room air-conditioner with a powerful fan. Only problem is, there’s no method for keeping the fan running. So while it’s heating or cooling, the fan runs, but when the selected temp is reached, the fan shuts off. Then all the noises from the airport, and the rest of the hotel, come into play, especially planes taking off. And the self-closing doors close slowly until the last six inches of travel, then slam shut. I’m about the only frequent hotel guest I know that takes care not to allow my room door to slam shut, in case anyone’s trying to sleep. The hotel staff, especially Oscar, who’s been there for like a gajillion years, are fantastic."

"There’s a front desk who is rude she’s a girl. But the guy who I talked to about check in he’s super nice. We came 3:00pm (March 28) but they said they need more time to clean the room. He makes our check in time into 4:00pm (March 28) then the check out time is 2:00pm (March 29) but the girl who’s in the front desk keeps calling me around 10:45am (March 29) and she said we need to check out earlier. She was so rude in the phone and was at the church that time. When we came back to the hotel around 12:45pm, we check out around 1:30pm, she’s mad with us. The room doesn’t have garbage bag or trash cans. The parking is not secured also."
