"Athena Resort is a fantastic unique hotel in Ninh Binh, the little house style accommodation feels like a home away from home and the pool facilities are expansive. The staff were fantastic including helping us to confirm details on sleeper buses we were taking to the next leg of our trip. The resort is standalone so is extremely quiet and tranquil with the small village of Tam Coc not too far away (20 min walk down a single road over the rice paddies), or a quick taxi / bike ride. "Absolutely loved it here! Very quiet and calm area. Every room is along a pond that is so pretty! This place has a great breakfast and offers free bicycles which are a great way to get around! The staff are all kind and friendly! Really enjoyed my stay here! "
