Great little hotel in a super convenient spot. Just a short walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and right near plenty of good food options in the Old Quarter. Check-in/out was quick and easy, and the staff were really friendly. Solid choice if you want to explore the area on foot.

Prime Hanoi location, wonderful staff, one smelly little mystery 🛵 Hotel Solis is perfectly placed for exploring Hanoi on foot. We walked everywhere, and the food around the hotel was fantastic. We even tried Grab delivery when the kids were craving burgers, and found some that hit the spot. The rooftop pool and bar are fairly average, but after a long day of pavement pounding, a cool-off dip is exactly what you need. The rooms were clean, but there was an unpleasant sewage-like smell that seemed to be coming through the vents. It was very noticeable, so it's worth getting looked into. Breakfast was okay. Not a huge selection, but that's fair for a hotel this size. The real stars were the staff. Viet and Liz went above and beyond to make our stay great and gave us brilliant tips on where to go and what to see. A great little place to stay, and if that smell gets sorted, it'd be a winner. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
