"What a wonderful stay at the Carlton. Outstanding rooms, perfect location, friendly staff, excellent food, and a great chef by the name of Ming. I hope I got the name correct. We extended our stay for 2 more nights and after a 3 day trip to Hua Hin we have just re-booked the Carlton for our last 3 nights in Thailand. We will be back next year for sure. "

"Lovely hotel, we used the pool, the gym, the sauna and steam room and everything was excellent. We were really happy with our room, it was spacious and very clean. The tokens are a nice touch - used ours for a bath bomb and some GCP merch. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was ornate and vast and they even had vegan options for us, clearly marked. The location is good, we took tuk tuks everywhere as well as their free shuttle to the metro. There is a 7-11 next door for snacks :) The staff are lovely and professional. I’m interested in trying the other hotels from Grande Centre Point after this stay. "

"We had a spectacular Premier balcony room with a corner of windows overlooking the river! It was perfectly cleaned each day and perfect in every way. I recommend to splurge on this. The buffet at the Next2 Cafe had an impressive array of delicious offerings. The location was also near perfect within walking distance to breakfast, lunch , dinner, massage, MRT, ferries, and even a money exchange next door. A great base to explore anywhere you want to go. The pool was great to enjoy after a hot day around town. The service was also impressive in every aspect. We took the complementary shuttle service to the pier area multiple times a day. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a welcome back. We also stayed in 5 star hotels in Shanghai and Singapore during our trip, but this was the best overall experience. Now I know why it’s called the Shangri-La!"

"Great staff , great hotel and view from the rooftop pool and bar , also you can take the free shuttle boat from the hotel ( anantara ) next door , very convenient ro get to a few places through the river , highly recommended!!! "
