Disappointing

This is not a scandic hotel, it’s a basic motel at a scandic price. Only the main building is beautiful. Rooms avec basic. There is a bed and that’s it. The breakfast is basic as well. Not even a pastry.

Hotel was fine but there were two problems: 1. There was only one person handling check-in and there was a long line (especially because one customer kept harassing the lone staff member). Add some staff! 2. The chimney in the main area is not working! There was smoke going everywhere and I can only assume all smoke detectors have been turned off.

Hotelli Nordkappin juurella.

Nordkappissa yöpyivät suuret bussimakaryhmät samaan aikaan, mutta esim. aamiainen sujui kuitenkin hyvin. Paikka on hyvä ja siitä paasee parille lyhyellekin vaellusreitille, kuin myös se on lähellä Nordkappia. Myös läheinen pikkukaupunki oli viehättävä pistäytyä. Yö hotellissa rauhallinen.

Bonne situation géographique mais décevant.

Choisi pour la proximité du Cap Nord et la bonne image que j'ai des hôtels Scandic. C'est peut-être pour se conformer à l'habitat local que le bâtiment est construit en bois, mais cela donne un résultat plutôt rustique. L'isolation est très faible et j'ai entendu les rafales de vent pendant la nuit. Et aussi les ronflements de la chambre voisine. La salle de bain est minuscule. L'équipement de la chambre minimaliste. Je trouve le buffet du petit-déjeuner correct, par contre, j'ai était déçu par celui du soir dont les choix de plats était assez ordinaire.

Kæmpe hotel

Hotellet ligger et super godt sted, der kommer mange busser med gæster så der er tit kø, både ved morgenmad og aftensmad. Busgæster sidder i stueplan hvor buffeten er, andre gæster sidder på første sal med fin udsigt og god plads. Vi løb ind i mangel på kopper og kaffe. Vi havde 4 overnatninger, så det kunne være lidt belastende. Der var en fuldstændig mangel på skriftlig information om tidspunkter og hvad man ellers har brug for at vide. Nogle informationer fik vi mundtligt ved ankomsten, men ikke alle. Der er ikke wifi på værelserne. Heller ikke TV. Hvis man ønsker fred og ro, er det ikke her man skal bo.

Det er ikke tv på rommet, dårlig wi-fi, edderkoppnett i hjørne, tom for såpe i dusj og det finnes ikke hylle for å plassere egen såpe i dusj, så ble hele baderom fult av vann siden man åpner dusjgardinen for å ta såpe. Gammeldags kraner i vasken, vanskelig å få justert vannet til riktig temperatur. Til frokost ble servert egg uten eggeglass. Det var ikke noe tilbudt om kveldsmat på restaurant og nærmeste spisested er i 25 km derfra.
