"Upgraded amenities, the only negative was the changes made in the Map Room. The property management company built a bar/lounge in the corner of the map room taking away from the historic charm of the Map Room. There’s already a bar in the Mammoth Hotel Dining Room. The new bar wasn’t needed and detracts from the historic nature of the hotel.
Now when guests or visitors come through the Map Room they’re lead to believe that the bar is an original part of the Hotel. "
"Loved this hotel, wonderful cabin experience along with cool Native American art. So quiet and comfy, best night sleep I've had in ages. But what made this a 5* experience was the service. The receptionist Ashlen was so friendly, gave me great local recommendations that completely paid off. I'd 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone."
"It met expectations. The dining left something to be desired, but you’re not there for the food , right? The hotel was nice and parking was plentiful. "
