"We enjoyed our stay at Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay. The welcoming was great and inviting. The room was clean, large and with the layout of the bathroom just right. We appreciated the view since it had a partial sea view and a view of the local homes next tot he property. We were on the 7th floor so the view was relaxing. During our time that we stayed many of the restaurants that are listed on the website was not availbale due to renovation and repairs. However, the Indian themed restuarant and the buffet was excellent. The only downside was I said yes to a 90 minute presentation after we had arrived. I wished that I had not done so, because I do not care for time share type of promotions. I was initially told it was not. My wife and I would stay here again only if the entire facility will be open and more restauarnt choices and beach access available. Ovarall a good stay for the three nights of stay."

"If you’re looking for a fun but relaxing place to go to Rui Reggae is the place for you. You’re also able to go to the other neighbor hotels that have different vibes. Rui Reggae is by far the best place to vacation. You have 3 different pools, the beach, swim up bars & fun games throughout your stay.The cleanliness of the rooms were excellent & also comes with a balcony. The STAFF was amazing whether you’re at the lobby bar/front desk, the buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner, entertainment staff EVERYONE! You’ll feel welcomed, entertained & at home. "It was a really good hotel had lots of fun things to do and the entertainment was great .There were many different places to eat and the food was delicious. The swimming pool was a great place to sit and have family time in the pool. It was very kid friendly and the kids club was great and had many different activities.overall we loved it🙂👍"

"I would never recommend this property. It is dated and worn out. The food was terrible and yet somehow everything tasted the same. We couldn’t even try some of the restaurants on property because they were either closed or no reservations available. The 2 hot tubs we saw were filthy and damaged. Snorkeling from the beach was literally the only redeeming quality for this resort. This experience was so bad that I wouldn’t trust any Couples Resort moving forward. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic experience, this is not the property for you…LOUD music every single night late into the night. The beach was dirty. There really was nothing good about this place aside from what we got to see while snorkeling just beyond the beach area. "
