"Two night stay in the small village of Bowes. Double room was comfortable with en suite. Tasty English breakfast included. We used the pub for our evening meal on both nights - there is no other option nearby for dinner without a short drive. Bar food was cooked really well. The bar itself was functional but lacking a bit of character. "

"All en-suite rims are different. Heavy wooden bed, headboard and furniture. Small en-suite but fully functional and lovely shower. Will definitely stay again."

"I enjoyed my two night stay at The Hedgefield House Hotel. The double room with seperate en-suite was immaculate & well presented. The double bed was very comfortable & i slept well. I appreciated the scenery at The Hedgefield House Hotel along with both peace & tranquility. Finally i would certainly recommend The Hedgefield House Hotel to all & sundry. "

"If I could give this place a 0 I would. We booked for 14 nights due to a work trip. We ended up spending 1 night in this hotel and left. It was filthy, it was horrid and it was just not up to any standards of a hotel. It seemed like a half way house - disgusting. I have attached some photos. We requested a refund for the 14 days as we only did one day here and we weren't allowed a refund. Expedia wouldn't even refund us. We will not be using Expedia ever again. Do not allow your kids or family...
