Top Northeast Arizona Hotel Reviews
Greentree Inn Holbrook
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing experience. We only stayed for the night, but we were so impressed with how helpful Jodi was with us. We were in town for a short visit due to the death of a friend. We were unfamiliar with the town and needed some info re the courts. She researched the info for us immediately, gave us the info we needed and was just such a kind, helpful person. We were very tired when we arrived after an 11 hour drive. She just made everything so easy for us. We enjoyed the comforts of the room, the staff on site and would not hesitate to stay there again."

La Posada Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is in my opinion is one of the best hotels in America. It carries a lot of history from its inception as a train stop in the 1920's that enabled young girls to obtain jobs and find their eventual spouses. From these Fred Harvey girls on to guests who were shooting movies for Hollywood, the hotel has a wonderful history. It was designed to look like a families country estate by Mary Coulter who also designed structures at the Grand Canyon (e.g. Kiva) and in Santa Fe (La Fonda). The hotel has a sunken garden and a sprawling lawn as well as a museum, which currently is showcasing a indigenous rug. Tina Mion is a wonderful painter and you can take a self-guided tour through her gallery. She has a series of first ladies and how their husband's or guardian's looked as well. These types of works and her own self-portrait have been exhibited in the Smithsonian museum. From an art and architectural standpoint it makes for a fascinating visit. The food is wonderful and breakfast is always an epiphany of how well their kitchen staff has been trained. If you come in at night their bar is well-stocked and you can eat dinner there as well if the dining room is booked. The gift shop always has lovely things to buy to help you remember your visit. Overall, it is an enchanting place that keeps you engaged, as it was truly a restoration that was handled with love and a desire to preserve history for everyone to enjoy. This is a must do stop, even if you just go on a self-guided tour."
