"No smoking in restaurant area"

"We pulled into the near empty parking lot full of cracks and weeds and cigarette butts, we headed over to the pet area that was so littered with animal feces we hesitated to let our dog out. Upon entering the smoke smelling lobby we were greeted by a very nice male employee, checked in and paid our extra pet fee. Finding the lounge and casino were closed and barricaded we headed to our room. It was awful. The carpet was so dirty and smelled awful. The toilet seat was broken, the tub stained, not sure from what. The windows were so filthy you couldn't see much out of them, the flashing from the roofline was hanging off the side of the building, and the tv didn't work. We went downstairs to the desk and after waiting awhile for "someone" to come, we gave up, left our keys and walked away. We are in our 70s and have traveled many times but have never done that before. Live and learn. "

"Very friendly staff, clean room, good food. Furniture a bit uncomfortable and the heater unit in room was exceptionally loud. All in all a good stay. "
