Loved the 1811 charm yet the beds were so comfy and the room was spotless! David is a gracious and knowledgable host who makes you feel cared for and welcomed. His breakfasts were delicious and generous. A beautiful stop over as we proceeded farther North to go into Vermont. We look forward to returning.

The house was so historic and the hosts were kind helpful and inviting. Definitely going back!!!! Anyone staying here will enjoy thesmall town ice cream place and the quick access to bigger towns. Don't forget to go see the garden and gazebo!!!

I liked the style and decor of the house - historical but not fussy. The large yard and gazebo were a relaxing place to stroll around. (you can pick apples). The atmosphere/vibe was relaxed and welcoming. David, the host, was very pleasant. The breakfasts were quite good (omelets, meat, fruit, muffins) two of the three days of our stay. Mondays are continental breakfast, which was not the same caliber and angered some of the guests. They need a work around for this. The nearby businesses are a delightful throwback to an earlier era: the Creamie Ice cream shop, the IGA market, etc. The Four Star Brewery has a fantastic outdoor space/yard and excellent hard cider. Did not try the beer.

It's a great B&B. However, expedia does NOT tell you that if you check in outside of normal hours (3-6pm) you need an appointment because it is run by an actual host. Just call and schedule your arrival with them! Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great.

The owners of this historic home are exceptionally helpful with all of the details for a pleasant visit. The particular highlight is the marvelous and creative breakfasts, in our case especially the frittatas and raspberry turnovers, which we wished we could take home by the dozen.
