"First of all we had a great time and would stay there again. Everyone is very nice and friendly. Just a few things. We reported to the desk each day that the shower was backing up. They asked if maintenance could come in the room while we were there and we said yes. Maintenance never came and with 4 people in a room, it's not pleasant standing in someone else's shower water each day. The pool was down for maintenance and you couldn't even use the work out facility until 9am. Most of use like to get a workout in first thing in the morning especially when it's raining out. That was really disappointing especially since you are forced to pay a resort fee for the pool and amenities. Again, we had a fun time, but these were a bummer."

"My stay was well and peaceful. The property was clean staff was very nice, parking was perfect. I stayed for four nights I only had one request that was not fulfilled. My room was not cleaned in which an employee told me that since it was a holiday I might not receive cleaning of the room. There is signage stating that your cleaning is every other day however, when the original day that we were supposed to have cleaning,housekeeping came, but, my fiancé and I were still asleep."

"The room looked nothing like the pictures. They were dingy paint peeling off the frames. The breakfast was horrible. All they had was waffles and cereal no meat no eggs. One of the doors to the side entrance had no lock on it just a big hole where the lock was supposed to be."

"We came to the area to explore Indiana Dunes national and state parks, and this hotel is very conveniently located. (It is also very near the Dune Park train station, which we used to hop on the South Shore Line to Chicago one morning to visit the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. Yay for not having to drive and park in Chicago traffic!) The rooms do show their age a bit, but we just thought that gave it character. Most importantly, it was very clean and comfortable. Our balcony faced into the wooded part of the property and we saw birds, squirrels, and chipmunks every day of the visit. It was extremely quiet and peaceful, though I expect things get a bit livelier when the summer tourist season gets into full swing. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The free breakfast was basic but tasty, with a nice variety of cereals and pastries, and there was both regular and chocolate batter available for the waffle maker each morning. Would absolutely stay here again next time we're in the area!"

"I had a very pleasant stay at Comfort Inn in Schererville. The owner is young and welcoming, and the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were all excellent. The hotel is clean and in a convenient location near restaurants and cafés. One area for improvement: the in-room safes in our rooms were not working, and the coffee machine was dripping hot water. Overall, a nice hotel, and I would definitely stay here again."
