""Treated with compassion, respect, and professionalism" First off I wanna to give a big shout-out to Pam & Gabby for making my stay at the Mundelein Illinois location truly an awesome experience. Unfortunately my visit was due to my dads sudden death. When I arrived to Mundelein (from Portland OR) I immediately needed somwhere to stay. So I stopped in to this Comfort Inn location to see if there were any rooms available. Pam and Gabby immediately greeted me with a smile, and helped me get a room. They quickly understood my emotional state, and both treated me with compassion. I ended up getting a very nice/quiet room for my 7 day stay. When I returned to the hotel after my first day of helping my mom, I was pleasantly shocked to find a card and cookies waiting for me. The condolence card was hand written, thoughtful, and truly made me smile. Thank you Pam and Gabby for making me smile in such a dark time. 🙏 I will be soon. "

"Staff was very nice, room & pool were very nice. Was disappointed that the breakfast was either $9 or $17 I could’ve sworn I saw free continental when booking but all in all it was a perfect stay. "

"Excellent room, dining was very nice (great apply, walnut and beet salad at the restaurant and great beer options), nice and attentive staff. Could grab a water downstairs at any time and the options to find a space to hang with a colleague to chat were ample. "

"The price was fair, but the location isn’t very convenient for getting into Chicago—especially in March weather. We ended up spending a lot on Ubers. Breakfast was great, and the staff there were very kind and attentive. The gym is cramped and not well maintained—dirty mats, only two treadmills, and one was unplugged (though it worked once plugged in). We didn’t try the pool. Overall, the stay was fine until the end. During a storm, the Wi-Fi was too poor to book an Uber for over an hour and a half while I was trying to get to the airport. When I asked the front desk (likely the manager) for a taxi alternative, she was surprisingly rude and unhelpful, which left a bad final impression. She told me that she could help by googling it or that I could just do that. Customer service is everything when you're in time of need so I'm leaving 2 stars and never coming back."

"Staff was courteous, efficient. Rooms were clean, quiet, large, had the usual basic amenities. The waitstaff for breakfast were great. More than enough parking. I’ve been there before, I would come again."

"There was no staff at the front desk. Had to wait for check-in and no one ever showed up upon checkout so I had to throw the key card on their front desk and just left. Breakfast was a joke. Room was on the first floor and the window did not lock. Furnishings in room are worn. Do yourself a favor and pay $20 more and stay down the block at a different hotel."
