"Everything about this property was exceptional but there is only one thing that needs improvement. The Check-in process.
This resort can be booked using different booking agencies such as Expedia. At the check-in counter, we had three different check-ins going on but hotel was not able to locate the check-in easily. They had to make multiple phone calls to find their booking. Despite having all the proof and evidence, they could not locate the booking in their system. This was happening at 11:00 PM at night.
I booked mine using Expedia so mine was easy to locate fortunately. My family members used different agencies to book and it took them multiple phone calls and almost 2 hours (in the middle of night) to locate their booking.
That whole experience could have been improved. Imagine you had a long 8-9 hours flight, went through the crappy and unnecessary lengthy Tanzania immigration process and finally came to the resort to start the vacation and you still have to go though 2 hours long of check-in process simply because resort cannot see the booking in their side. And the customer who booked has all the paper trail, email chains and payment proof that they have booked it.
Other than that, this resort, staff, food, location, service, amenities, etc, everything is exceptional."
