"This villa is basic and was perfect for me for my one week stay.
I enjoyed privacy, the comfortable sofa on the terrace, and a hot bath in a jungle setting.
Overall it was peaceful aside from some construction noise and traffic in the distance. Lots of frogs too through the night but the sounds of nature are wonderful.
Biggest downside was the road to get to it which is very challenging for cars. Better if you plan to use a scooter or scooter taxi.

"We were upgraded to the Ayodya Palace and had an interconnected rooms for our young children. The check-in staffs were very friendly and welcoming. We were provided with fresh cold towels and drinks. The rooms came with free straw hats, snacks and fruits. They also had SmartTV in each rooms. Housekeeping were fast to our requests and issues we encountered during our stay. They also provided slippers for our room, but it was a bit small for our feet. Our rooms also came with free breakfast buffet. The buffet had a pretty good selection of local, western and eastern cuisines. We really enjoyed them. The resort had a private beach only accessible by guests though we find the waves to be a bit choppy and rough for our kids. The ocean water here were not calm and clear as I was led to believe. I hardly saw anyone snorkeling here and didn't think it was suited for one either. They provided free bikes and helmets. My 7 year old was able to ride the kid bike but it's a big too big for my 4 year old. I did put her on the "baby" seat and it worked fine. We took the bikes to the WaterBlow attraction nearby. The adult activities were almost non-existent. I didn't see anyone playing beach soccer or any of the scheduled activities. Kids clubs: It's mostly just a few adults watching your kids, not doing much. They just end up playing PS5 or watching TV most of the time. Not great, but it's free for you to get some downtime., SPA here was really reasonable and great. Highly recommend it."
"Awesome staff who were incredibly caring and dedicated to our needs! We are vegetarian, and the resort staff went above and beyond to ensure we were beautifully catered to. We would like to give a huge thank you to the following staff members for making sure my family and I were completely satisfied from day one
Ira (Front Desk & Management): From our initial reservation and check-in all the way to check-out, Ira ensured we were happy with our rooms and everything the resort provided. We didn't even know she was in management until later because she was so humble and never once led with her title, which I personally loved.
Koming (Kitchen/Chef) took amazing care of us. Every single morning, she would greet us by name and ask what we wanted to eat. Even though her specific cooking station mostly served meat, she would personally ask other staff members to prepare fully vegetarian food for us. The food was absolutely great!
Dharma, Natta, Oka, and Denny: These guys took care of us from day one. What really stood out was that they were always smiling and genuinely asking how we were doing after a long day of adventures. They always wanted to know how they could make our stay even better. My kids especially loved Dharma and Oka, frequently visiting them for butterfly pea tea and always returning with big smiles.
Before returning home to the USA, my kids were already saying, "We need to come back here again!" They had an absolutely fantastic time at the resort. THANK YOU!"
"Our first trip to Bali was also a milestone anniversary, so choosing the right resort was important. After extensive research, we selected Paradisus by Meliá because of its recent renovation, beachfront location, dining options, and excellent reviews—and it exceeded every expectation.
Although we arrived before the traditional welcome, we were pleasantly surprised with an early check-in and an upgrade to a Junior Suite. The thoughtful anniversary touches, including a cake, personalized card, and staff recognizing our celebration throughout our stay, made us feel truly valued.
The dining was outstanding. Malva quickly became our favorite for its incredible breakfast and dinner buffets, while Kanna, Tokimeku, and Sante were all excellent. Our private anniversary dinner at Sante was unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip.
The resort grounds are stunning, with lush gardens, koi ponds, and a beautiful beachfront. The pool was spacious and relaxing, and we loved biking along the beachfront path connecting neighboring resorts.
A few small improvements would make an already great resort even better: restocking pastries at the café throughout the day, expanding the pool menu, improving consistency with premium lounge chair policies, and adding a dedicated resort app.
Overall, Paradisus made our anniversary incredibly special. The hospitality, beautiful property, and exceptional food created memories we’ll cherish forever. We can’t wait to return!"
"We checked in at 4.30 pm, when we were supposed to check in at 4.
Our flight was late at night, but they only extended our check-out time by 1 hour until 1 pm."
