"Hotel was beautiful. I was there in a hurricane and had no use of elevators or hot water for a shower. Nothing power for most of the day. All things that are out of the hotels control. We were asked to stay in our rooms but no one checked in on us and no one offered a way of getting food. I understand it was a weather event but at least check in and make sure everyone is ok."

"I liked the look of the newly renovated hotel. I like that the rooms are cleaned every day. I am not an early riser and that became an issue with the cleaning staff. But otherwise, it is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Waikiki"

"Location, amenities, and room was nice. We were on floor 5 in the pool level. The hallway carpet always smelled musty. The amenities were nice but depending on the time and day the spa was always packed. The side of the building we were on was next to the trash collection and delivery drivers which always woke us up before 5am or so every day. If you can see the nice mural from the balcony you are on tras collection side."

"The room was clean and the hotel is overall good. Parking is limited, but they will give you a voucher to park at the garage next door (Discovery Bay) if they run out of space. Don't expect to find parking at the hotel lot after 8pm, it will be very difficult. There's no beach towels to lend you. Location is convenient to walk to the Waikiki strip within 10 minutes."
