He not only made us feel welcome but also gave us excellent recommendations for local wineries and even arranged a fantastic dinner reservation at Leeu Estate, which was a highlight of our trip. The property itself is absolutely stunning—surrounded by vineyards and mountains, it feels like a serene escape. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared with anniversary goodies from the manager, Annette, who also took the time to personally greet us at breakfast, which made the experience feel even more special. Every detail, from the attentive service to the relaxed yet elegant vibe, made our stay exceptional. We left feeling so cared for and already can’t wait to return—perhaps in the summer or during harvest season to experience Mont Rochelle in a different light."

"We are a family of four who had an 8 night stay at the Krystal Beach Hotel which we consider to be a five star rating (for a four star hotel). Excellent location with fantastic views over Gordon's Bay. Many great aspects to the hotel to support the five star rating including: the family room was very spacious for the four of us, comfortable bedding for excellent nights sleep, daily cleaning/maid service, friendly staff, healthy and filling daily breakfast, good range of meals and drink at competitive prices prices served in the restaurant, access to a gym and many other positive aspects"

"Previous reviews vary and it is fair to say the property is fairly dated and could do with some work, HOWEVER, the charm of the property and the exceptional service make up for this and more. We are well travelled and have stayed in some exceptional hotels around the world but the friendliness and especially the service was as good as any. After booking our three night stay, i asked if they could book a nice restaurant for our first night and albeit a busy friday they booked a table at the fat butcher which was excellent. They also provisionally booked restaurants for our other two nights, as a fallback. They recommended and then booked for us a superb private wine tasting with lunch. Although it is not particularly central in Stellenbosh, we found Uber no problem and cheap, except on one occasion when we found it difficult, however after a call from the restaurant, the hotel picked us up at no charge.. Even at breafast when i asked for something they didnt have, without asking someone went to the local shop and got it for me.. As I said,, the service was excellent. A really nice experience, the hotel itself not 5 star,, however the service was more than that and we would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending it.. Thanks guys."
