"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again!

Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as.

Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

"The hotel is in a nice location but the conditions and services would need to tmprove. There should be air-conditioning and there should be a refrigerator in the room. Dining wise, they could improve efficiency by getting guests to get their own utensils and bringing used plates back to central location which is the practice in many hotels in their restaurants. Breakfast time should be consistent everyday and not change on weekends which cause confusion. Many restaurants provide coffee especially when they are open late for breakfast. "

"Really good value for this incredibly spacious apartment. A comfortable night. A couple of touches would improve the stay even more. As previous reviewer mentioned, the only mirror is above the bathroom sink. Its on the top of the jet garage which is closed at night. "
"Amazing little hideway just within easy walking distance of West Malling, the hosts were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable on arrival, we purchased the firepit kit which was beautifully presented and included marshmallows and all your fire starting essentials, perfect for a quiet evening under the night skies. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and offered everything you could need for a self catering trip, including tea, coffee, cutlery, firepit tools, tin foil, washing up liquid, hand soaps and much more. The oven was spotless and easy to use, perfect for cooking a meal after a long day out. The lodge also had a smart TV with plenty of connected apps if you need them, the whole place was so peaceful and unique and was a great base for our trip to nearly Brands Hatch, we would love to come back and highly recommend staying."
