Casa de la Tia Tere is a treasure. It is family run, the owners live on the premises, and the staff are very friendly. It is in the Centro neighbourhood, close to the main points of interest; so you can explore in the morning when its cooler and chill by the pool in the beautiful courtyard in the hot afternoon.

Beautiful hotel in a super central location. The only criticism I would have is that the staff could be a little quieter and less chatty before 8am. But they were always very pleasant and helpful. A great visit.

Beautiful pool area, good included breakfast, excellent location, cleaned well. The only real negative for me is the mattress was uncomfortably hard (seems to be a thing in Mexico). My room was on the dark side so I recommend booking a room overlooking the pool. Overall a nice place.

Everything was wonderful! Great location close to everything yet quiet rooms. The suites next to the pool area have kitchenette and are spacious. The large pool was heated. The rooms were spotless and we really appreciated the daily housekeeping—fresh towels each day and complimentary water bottles restocked daily. Breakfast was included and had a nice mix of options (usually one vegetarian and one meat choice), plus yogurt and fruit, coffee and tea. The pool was awesome, and pool towels were available. The front desk staff were also fantastic, great recommendations on what to do, and they helped book our tours and even arranged our taxis for our final day. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but still walking distance to all the main sights. We would definitely stay here again!
