"Breakfast good "

"Spacious, comfortable room. Staff need a few lessons in manners, attentiveness and dress code. Breakfast okay, nothing to write home about. Staff wore jeans, trainers and blouses, not quite what I would have expected. One member of staff in breakfast room rather rude. We ordered breakfast both without sourdough toast and asked for brown toast separately. Breakfast arrived served on top of brown toast, not separate as requested. I said we had asked for it separate and she went to take plate away. I said just to leave it and bring toast separately. She returned with one slice in a toast rack. I said I had requested toast for 2 on the side. She grabbed the toast rack and said if you tell me what you want I will get it. Strange I thought I already had! Had requested a room with bath in message to hotel prior to arrival. None available but not even acknowledged by Receptionist, just said none available. At checkout we weren't asked how our stay was, but did offer have a nice day as we were leaving. Such a shame, as this used to be our go to Hotel in Oban since it first opened, but that is definitely our last visit"

"Room was clean and had a view of the ocean. Overall, very noisy doors seaming, showers in other rooms all hours of the night. I was closer to the back where there seemed to be a lot of people coming and going despite there only being 4 rooms. "

"Nice and cosy and clean with excellent shared facilities of bathroom, kitchen amd lounge area and nice bar serving good food under the guest house. Perfect location."

"Hotel room had been refurbished at some point but starting to show a few niggles - bathroom door handle loose, bath room sink tap loose. Room itself was smaller than expected but adequate for our three day stay. We had a bay view room which lived up to those on the website. Restaurant only offered a three course meal for dinner which was really good value. Breakfast was a bit hit or miss - some items were only warm (hash browns kept on a plate rather than a heated serving tray). Car parking is a bit restricted otherwise parking is on the street / car park opposite which is free between 06:00 pm and 09:00 am. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and an asset to the hotel."

"Beautiful room with lots of thoughtful touches and a stunning view. Self check in was perfect for us as we had a late arrival and it was lovely to meet Nicola when we left the following morning. Safe secure parking on site. "

"The room could’ve been cleaner but the view was amazing. Not much going on in town so it was nice to have the bar and restaurant attached. "

"We had such a lovely stay, beautiful views and felt very peaceful and tranquil. Only a 5 min drive from Oban city centre it was the perfect location of having everything on your doorstep but still being able to enjoy the beauty of Oban. The room was lovely, it felt very homely with a lovely balcony and great bathroom. Staff were amazing and very attentive and provided a geat breakfast. Would definitely stay again."
