"Daiwa Roynet is one of our favourite hotel chains in Japan due to their consistence in quality in services, bedroom, bathroom, meals, etc
We stayed in this hotel in late May & were very happy with our choice.
- Its location is perfect, close to everything.
- Very helpful staff
- Nice beddings, good / quiet aircond. We slept very well
- We loved the clever bathroom layout. It's one of the nice features making this hotel chain our favourite
- The set-meal breakfast was top notch
We would stay in this hotel again in the future"
"Charming hotel. Meals are served buffet style, with a large selection. Hotel has two sets of public baths to chose from; an indoor pair with dedicated separate male and female sides, and the much more extravagant outdoor baths with a view of the river with a smaller, enclosed bath and a larger open air bath area. Do keep in mind that the the larger bath is on a rotating schedule between genders, and the men's time is in the mornings (5-10am) and the women's time is in the evenings. The outdoor baths are beautiful, but this has a slightly more corporate/hotel vibe than a more traditional ryokan, but the prices are quite good. An indoor pool is available as well."
"We stayed 1 night with halfboard & couldn't be happier. The property is very picturesque with a nice garden & waterfall.
- Great dinner in private dining room with helpful staff
- Buffet breakfast was good with a wide range of quality food
- Large bedroom with good beddings & aircond
- Nice bathroom with separate toilet
This hotel is at the top of our return list."
"The view from the room was excellent and lots of activities within the resort to keep you busy.
Excellent food and hotel staff were very hospitable! Can’t wait to be back for another stay!"
"Stayed 4 nights, beside being good at location, reasonable price; service was superb. My luggage delivery was challenging when I had to recall it back all the way from Aomori due to tsunami- earthquake alert, and the staff were very patient, took the trouble to call Yamato to ensure my luggages was safely sent back.
Thanks to a gentleman staff (4/20) who find me a good rroom rate to extend extra day and make 1st call to Yamato, and Ms Sato San (4/23) who again called to check when my luggage didn't turn up on time. Much appreciated!! Will definitely come back again."
