"Clean and nice room"

"We stayed during some construction or very loud deliveries; however, they were respectful and waited until 9:00 to start. Bed was comfortable and generous. Needed extra pillows for my comfort. The room generous with bathroom out in private entry, separated by an extra door. Walk in closet, desk, and three comfortable chairs, king bed. Staff was courteous, breakfast outstanding..omelettes and soft boiled eggs to order. Fruit, salmon board, and every steeped delicious tea you could imagine. Location was central, one block away from the Hofbrauhaus. We loved Schneider Brau Haus beer and food. Two blocks from Marienplatz. We hope to be back to Platzl Hotel. "

"Great hotel to stay at in Munich, located very close to the central station which allows you take the train from another city or the airport. Its location within Munich allows you to get anywhere in the city without ease as its also close to all the transportation types. Hotel rooms were clean and modern which is great! Would definitely stay here again if we were in Munich."

"My second time in Munich and my second time at this hotel. I will stay here every time I visit Munich. It is conveniently located right across the street from the train station and walkable to everything you want to see. The hotel is clean and it has the best breakfast service and food. "Beautiful property. Exceptional staff, especially Annabelle Weiss at reception . Always courteous and helpful. Rooms were very modern but a bit quirky. Light switches and outlets difficult to work at first. Excellent buffet breakfast and beautiful restaurant. Very convenient location right next to the central station and Ubahn station, however there is a fair amount of construction in the area and the area to the west of the hotel is a bit rundown, but you can avoid it easily as there is nothing to see in that direction. Easy walk to old town and pedestrian shopping areas. Overall,this is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Happy we chose THE SOFITEL."
