A fantastic small hotel. Not centrally located, but with Munich’s excellent public transport, this was never a problem. Staff were unbelievably good. The area around the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The perfect place to crash at night after exploring and enjoying Munich. Definitely a bit older so you can easily hear through the walls. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, minibar was stocked nicely, can’t complain at all. Romanplatz tram/bus station is a short walk away and has options to take you all over the city. 15 minute ride into city center.

Beautiful building located next to the Palace Grounds. I enjoyed a quiet and peaceful experience at this hotel and enjoyed seeing Munich through a different area of the city. The reception was friendly and helpful and they were easy to check in with. The room itself looked like a nice rustic atmosphere that was minimal and clean. The only problem I experienced was that the mattress was not very comfortable and the linens were a little coarser than hoped. Overall nice staff, property, and experience but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have back issues like me since the bed in a hotel can be a very important factor in overall stay comfort. Otherwise this is a great option with an amazing location and aesthetic.

Room was a little fusty when I first arrived but soon aired out. Mini bar in the room was a nice treat and reasonably priced. Check-in worked really well especially when we booked after hours and last minute but managed everything which was good. Breakfast looked good and staff were very friendly

This was a comfortable stay at a place with plenty of character and located in a residential neighborhood. At this family run hotel the staff was hospitable and provided a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. It was in reasonable walking distance to the tram or to the train. Also had good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It is just good to be aware that the front desk is not staffed late at night or in the early morning hours.

Good stay

Not sure about the other reviews but I stayed here for about 2 nights. Honestly, its good. The bed, bathroom was good. The fridge inside was good so you can put your medicine or w/e to chill. I did not get the breakfast but you don’t need as Aldi Süd/Edeka Express is near Laim S-Bahn station (12 min walk straight). This hotel is close to Schloss Nymphenburg if you intend on visiting (10 min walk). Otherwise good stay, just know that in Germany, no A/C machine so natural “A/C” is cracking the windows open
