"Breakfast was fantastic. Room was a little dated but clean and nice. The Hotel has a feeling of space. Staff were friendly. Bike parking is not so great - there is a small rack in front of the hotel. You can park in the garage but there is nothing to chain the bikes to. The staff agreed to use one of their big locks but then removed this without telling me. The pool is also out of use for guests but the website says it is available. This could be a great place with a few tweaks "
"One would expect basic amenities like the wall-unit hair dryer to be functioning properly. Receiving a rather curt remark when giving verbal feedback to manager upon checking out was disappointing. Do better. "
" I usually go to the Kranz Parkhotel for my stays in Siegburg, but it was booked so I tried this hotel the first time. I was definitely going to stay there again, plus invited my friends to come in May during my stay in Siegburg. Since I am here on a family emergency, I was also incredibly grateful to have an interim opportunity to continue to work from the large and usually empty hotel lobby. In turn I consumed everyday coffee, drinks, cake and often dinner while working. Strangely, while everyone was very nice, the person in charge of reception made me feel unwelcome. When she made a mistake with an order (which is fine) she shrugged and said now “that it is done” I need to drink it like that. What??!! Making no attempt to be courteous. She masked her dismissive behavior with an excuse that I cannot leave my computer bag unattended if it is longer than maximum 5 minutes. Obviously, she could have suggested to store my computer in her bag room, and I would have paid happily whatever the fee is. On a side note, while everybody appeared to be professionally dressed and groomed, she looked sloppy. The displeasing demeanor of this woman soured my entire stay. For me it is definitely back to the Kranz Parkhotel, which I also recommend to sauna fans. There you can use the sauna 24/7 and no one has to track to the reception before and after to retrieve and return often non-working sauna access cards….

"The room was a good size, nice shower and heating. No kettle but that’s been a theme lately. Staff were helpful, breakfast was okay. Good place to eat in town."
