I recently stayed at Ashore and booked a room specifically for its advertised oceanview with balcony. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. The balcony was so small that standing was a challenge, let alone sitting comfortably to enjoy the ocean view. To add to the disappointment, the oceanview was obstructed, with the balcony facing more towards the side than directly towards the ocean. Moreover, there was a persistent issue with condensation from the floor above, causing water to drip onto the balcony floor, making it unpleasant to stay outside for any length of time. This not only impacted our ability to enjoy the supposed 'oceanview' experience but also raised concerns about the maintenance and upkeep of the property. Overall, while the hotel itself was clean and the staff courteous, the discrepancy between the advertised amenities and the reality of the balcony and oceanview left much to be desired. Future guests should be aware that the balcony spaces are not suitable for enjoying the ocean as advertised. Management may want to consider updating their website to accurately reflect the conditions of their rooms.

Property was nice,pretty hot in bldg and walking through hallways.my entire stay I couldnt get front desk on the phone for nothing.that was annoying.point of having numbers on the phone and no one answers so you have to come downstairs from the 15th floor.WORK ON THAT!!no ice machi e on floor was a bummer.but it was clean and nice.

This is a decent property and overall we did enjoy our stay. The Tide Room restaurant is nice but they had run out of several items we wanted by 7:00 p.m., so that was disappointing. We also enjoyed the umbrella and chairs on the beach that were complimentary to our stay. We were not pleased with guest services when we arrived. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and our room was not ready. After being on the road for several hours, we were irritated by that. The people at guest services apologized, but for the amount of money that you spend on a room, and these mysterious resort fees that have popped up on all of the hotels, there should be some type of compensation for them not meeting their commitment for a timely check in. There were several other patrons who were waiting on rooms. Maybe it's a staffing problem at the hotel or they are just really slow. We booked a larger room with a king size bed only to find out that the particular type of room is only available in the hallway with the elevators so we could hear people's comings and goings. We thought this was poor design design of the building especially if you were going to charge people more for that type of room. The room was nice and generally seemed clean enough, but the carpet was dirty. We had two balconies with beautiful views though the balconies are very small. The TV was a little complicated to operate and in this day and age, it seems that most hotels if not all would offer streaming services. This is an OK hotel.

The renovations and decor in the lobby and room were nice. But the A/C unit sounded like a small generator was running in our room when the A/C compressor was on. In addition, the room we booked through Expedia (ocean view) was not available, so we were given a city view room. The front desk manager blamed Expedia for booking a room that was not available and said he could only refund me the $35 resort fee. I said ok, but then discovered we were still charged the resort fee after checking out. I also overheard the front desk telling numerous families that their rooms were not ready yet even though they were attempting to check-in at 5:30pm, and the lobby was full of people waiting for rooms.

We love our stay here from the amazing views ,private beach with free beach chairs , free parking , pool with dj was perfect ,we had breakfast very good the avocado toast and coffee with amazing views of the beach , rooms and bed comfortable ,the only thing missing is a long mirror to see myself as I dress up but other then that great resort ocean view balcony not to big but is ok was nice ,friendly staff and beautiful decor and atmosphere! Will come back again !
