Beware of the bait and switch! This place tacks on hidden fees which are only disclosed after you pay for the non-refundable stay. They will send you a welcome letter which requires you to sign an agreement where they hide fees. Your Expedia reservation will say paid in full but your credit card will be billed for FAR more than what was advertised. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

This condo was not clean at all. There was a spoon and garbage left in the couch, popcorn under the couch, a used shower cap was left in the shower and we found a food in the sheets if the master bed those sheets were stained and hair all over both beds. The after hours gentle man was very kind he tried to place us in a home but after looking at the home it too was very dirty big wolf spider, stains on the carpet, floors were dirty, kitchen counters had garbage on them and dishes in the sink. We then just requested a total refund and had to find a hotel to stay in for the night. Then found a very beautiful home through a different company to stay in for the rest of our trip. Do not stay in the Dune Buggy 106 condo. It is nit apart of the Oyhut seaside village it is operated by another company.

Very conveniently located to two different entrances to the beach! The condo is nestled in Oyhut Bay Village that feels like it's own little community within Ocean Shores. Only regret is that we did not book sooner so we could stay longer! Look forward to staying here again!

Expedia failed to mention the additional $150 cleaning feel this property requires and the receipt didn’t match the charge on my credit card. After multiple attempts to understand why there was an additional charge, the staff at Oyhut Bat were rude and dismissive about the situation. I understand additional fees happen, but I was treated like I was a “problem” , rather than being with treated with compassion. I was always poised and respectful when trying to resolve the conflict. Even upon checking in, I called to ask a question and Laurie said “I need your name to pull up your booking” the phone cut out so I verified her request and asked “did you say you needed my name?” And she passive aggressively said “yes? I need your full name so I can intelligently pull up your booking” “Intelligently” pull it up is obviously passive and it’s clear that she views the staff as a burden and doesn’t truly enjoy her job or customer service.

Peacful and quiet weekend
I made our reservation for a two bedroom condo several weeks early through Orbitz. When we arrived to check in they had no record of our reservation and all condos were occupied. Fortunately they had one cottage available and let us stay there at no extra cost. The cottage was new and very nice. The clerk in the office (George) was very pleasant, apologetic and very helpful and told us this was not the first time there had been a mixup with reservations make through Orbitz. Our stay was very enjoyable, the grounds and amenities are nice and the walk to the beach was surprisingly nice. Not much to do in Ocean Shores and the restaurants in town were very disappointing.

Beautiful condo in a really nice 'village-like' area. The small store was nicely stocked, the restaurant and and tavern were also very nice with great live music.

It was great! The condo was beautiful and we definitely enjoyed our stay. I thought about staying in multiple hotel rooms, but I'm glad I rented the condo instead; it made for a nice, cozy, family trip. Our daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed the activity area near the rental office. We had a slight issue with the cable not working on the TV in the master bedroom, but we really didn't need it. The only thing our particular unit lacked was a pasta strainer. What we enjoyed most was the cooler weather, since we live in an area of heat and high humidity.

Price increased
Great place to stay. After I made the reservation it gets transferred to some other company. The price of the trip increased a little bit. found out it was much cheaper to book it directly. Still a nice quiet place to stay.

Great facilities bad management
The condo was awesome, new, clean had everything we needed/wanted. My issue is/was with the management, we had to check out a day early due to a friend passing and they would not entertain any compensation for us. They still charged us for the last night.

Very nice 2 bedroom condo
The place is nice and cozy. We enjoyed very much our one night stay in the luxurious 2 bedroom condo. We plan on going back this summer for few nights of relaxation.

Beautiful Condos BUT Terrible customer service!!
The condos themselves are beautiful and well taken care of. BUT I would not go again because I could only reach a customer service person 1 time and they are off site and I always had to leave a message and they NEVER called back. I cannot imagine if there was a problem at the condo while there. The check in is at 5 pm which is excessively late and there is a long check list to do when checking in and out and some of the questions would not be known until you have stayed there. They want you to call as soon as you check in. There is NOTHING to do around the area except go to the beach. I cannot fathom how condos stay in business because there is literally nothing to do and only a few restaurants that are not even open all day and the only grocery store is very expensive. There is also a contract they email you and it states there is a possible deposit (they do not name the amount) that can be held for 45 days!! OR you can buy insurance so you don't have to pay it. I had to call Expedia about this and they were the only ones that could get hold of them. They then said that Expedia bookings did not have to pay it. It was a very stressful process to deal with and we wasted hours dealing with the situation when we could have been enjoying our vacation. The resort is also in the process of being built so there is nothing to do there yet.

Quiet and lovely
I really loved this development. Oyhut is a new and still under construction development a few miles away from the downtown experience. Very close to a couple lakes, the bay and of course the beach. If peace and quiet is what you're looking for, here it is. I spent a couple days at the beach and I wouldnt see another person for hours at a time. We stayed in a two bedroom condo. It was clean, spacious and had a large kitchen. The property also has Bungalo style units available. It's a great community.

Plenty of room in the condo. Nice layout. Close to beaches. Nice community of rentals with mopeds and bikes for use. Good wifi but no cable for tv viewing.
