"I was somewhat prepared for less-than-quality accommodations but the motel was where I needed it to be on short notice so I braved it. In no particular order: no stopper for tub, no working lights in sink area, holes in ceiling tiles (one "filled" with toilet paper), recessed light hanging out of ceiling, rusted ceiling tile retainers, desk table so rickety I was afraid to use it with my labtop, and more. The bed linens did seem clean. The laminate flooring allowed the floor to seem clean. Air conditioner worked. TV had no instructions but I figured it out. I requested a ground floor room as I needed to bring my bicycle in. Unfortunately the room I was given had reserved handicap and veteran parking spots in front of it so I had to park across the lot not in front of my room..but didn't have to carry it up stairs. Where I parked I encountered the homeless people I had read about in reviews. They hang out at/on the motel's picnic tables. If I could have parked in front of my room, it would not be a concern but as I had to load and unload my bike on my car morning and night, it was. The staff was very nice. "

"I had a reservation for 3 night. The rating for staff should be 2 1/2. The elevator was broken the whole time so I had to stay on the first floor. I don't like that. About 2 hours after being in the room, someone with a key to the room opened the door. If I had not had the flap bar across the door he would have been able to walk in. When I screamed he quickly closed the door. I tried to call the front desk. The landline in the room did not work. It was hard to find the number to the hotel. When I found it, I called the front desk. I let the phone ring 30 times and no one at the front desk answered. I called 911. The Beaufort police responded and told me that the person at the front desk told them that the person was checking to see if the room was empty. When the police left I called the front desk and the man answered. He told me what the police told me. I told him. They could have called my cell number becasue they have it or the person should have knocked. What bothered me also is that not attempt was made by the front desk to check on me. I have never called 911 while staying at a hotel. To add insult to injury, my rool was next to the side door that leads to the parking lot as well as next to the staircase that people were having to use because the elevator did not work. All day and night I could hear the side door closing and if staircase door was opened so wide that it hit the wall behind it I would get a loud gong like sound in the room. "

"Saludos, Realicé una reservación con el personal de recepción al momento de mi llegada debido a inconvenientes con mi viaje. Sin embargo, no pude alojarme, ya que el personal de servicio al cliente me indicó que la reservación sería válida para el día siguiente. Luego de haber realizado el pago, se me informó que la reservación había sido cancelada por un error en la fecha. Han transcurrido ya dos meses y continúo en espera de una respuesta por parte de la gerencia respecto al reembolso correspondiente, el cual reclamé debido a que nunca pude hospedarme en las instalaciones. Agradecería atención y seguimiento a esta situación lo antes posible."
