"Hotel is a bit outdated and lacks in certain areas but was a pleasant stay. Reception very helpful and overall no issues. Just lacks in certain areas such as the breakfast buffet would run out of some items and towels were inconsistently replaced (bidet towels were there first day but then never seen again during stay). I would say this is more of a 3 star hotel rather than 4. 10 min walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby for evening. Handy supermarket shop next door that you can...

"The room was described in my booking as having a deep soaking tub but the first room only had a shower. After requesting another room with a tub they finally put us is 301. It had a tub and flimsy shower attachment but I enjoyed the bath. Thé portable air conditioning unit had a large hose attached which drained out the sliding door onto the balcony. This required the sliding door to remain open. The air conditioning in the rest of the suite didn’t work very well. Anna at breakfast was amazing as usual and prepared a boxed breakfast for us as we departed at 2am"

"Have stayed there twice; (1st) when it was still Solplay and (2nd) under the new name, MS Aparthotel. The property is rundown. From the moment entered the lobby, had a very musty smell. Only one elevator in service, which meant that it took forever to get to one’s room when people were checking in or were arriving. Even had to take stairs to floor 5 because elevator wait too long. Another group of people also took the stairs, but at least they only went up to 3rd floor. The air conditioner wasn’t working, which made the smell in worse than it already was. The bathroom specifically smelled like mold and drainage. After the second day, I noticed that there was a lot of mold under the toilet rim. I tried to scrub the toilet myself because I couldn’t stand the smell anymore, but not all came off. There was visible water damage on walls, the kitchen cabinets, the ceiling, and doors. I imagine that there must have been some kind of leak from the roof and the units hadn’t been maintained. We didn’t even bother requesting another room because the entire building smelled, booked through 3P, etc. Spouse had to ask about the air conditioner: there’s an annoying trick to it. Hotel restaurant food is sub-par and overpriced (for the quality). Huge deck, great view, but there’s no longer outdoor furniture. Clean bedrooms but has a lot of tiny gray spiders. Stayed because we aired unit out and beds were clean. Saw some work being done. Loved it the first time, scared off 2nd time."

"We liked the staff and being greeted at reception. They were friendly and changed our room right away when lights and AC did not come on. Restaurant nearby and bar were convenient for us at good prices. Toileties were excellent inclusive of shower cap, mini toothpaste etc. Hotel staff also kept our luggage for us safely after check-out so we could enjoy the afternoon. Hotel rate for what you received was very good. We did not like the fact that bulbs were missing, AC not working properly even in second room we received. Hotel needs upkeep. Some easy fixes. It was just one night so we did not not allow anything to spoil our stay."
