Alles sauber und zweckmässig, self-check-in hat gut geklappt, Lage mitten im Ort und in Hafennähe ist gut. Keinerlei Personal oder Ansprechpartner vor Ort und auch keinerlei schriftliche Informationen über das Haus und den Service vorhanden. Wer nur ein Bett braucht, ist ok aufgehoben, aber schön, nett, freundlich oder gemütlich ist das dort nicht.

You can believe the other negative reviewers. The property is in need of a renovation, the room was without proper lighting, the shower flooded the floor, there was not adequate toilet paper, the pillows were flat, the breakfast was a limited amount of offerings and quantity (example - 2 apples cut into wedges as the fruit), and the hosts did not acknowledge us, no nod or smile, as we said good morning. As for the positives, our room was large, we had a nice view from our window, we were able to walk across the street and have a delicious dinner at Sker and it was a convenient location for our travels. If we had to do it again, we would not book this hotel. We did not feel welcome due to the dingy furnishings and the unwelcoming hosts.

We got stuck in the elevator and when we tried calling the number they provided for help, nobody answered. Our tv wasn’t working and you couldn’t get in touch with staff at all. Very disappointed in this stay!!

This is an ok place but the check in didn’t go as easy as they claim . Your told to call and get your code but when we called we just a recorded message saying the phone wasn’t available . Eventually someone showed up and we got the code.

If this property was less expensive, I would’ve rated it higher. Drab room with thin towels and small beds. The elevator stops a few inches higher than the floor so I nearly fell stepping out of it. We didn’t actually sleep there as I booked us a much nicer place across the street for the same price. We came back in the morning for breakfast which was minimal. The staff barely replenished anything. We got there 20 minutes after breakfast started and didn’t have a lot to choose from. I hope they replenished items as breakfast was still scheduled for another 90 minutes. Don’t waste your money here. Keep looking.

There was no staff for check-in or check-out. We had a problem with the television and had to call a number to get someone to come over. Low season may account for the absence of staff, but the hotel was empty! Breakfast was good.

Beds were set up for 3 people and we had adequate pillows, bed linen and towels. Bath floor was hard to keep dry from shower spray. Not enough room lighting. Overall, reasonably-priced accommodation. Close to best restaurants in town.

Very nice. Clean. Spacious. Night life a bit loud. Great to have breakfast! Thank you for the free óhne to call you for our room code. We worried a bit about check in. We dont have Icelandic phones.

Positiv: Sauberes, überdurchschnittlich grosses Zimmer Negativ: Keine Rezeption Hotel ignoriert konsequent alle E-Mails von künftigen Gästen mit einer Buchung Erst nach der Buchung und Bezahlung erfährt man, dass man auch während den Ferien online sein muss um die Zimmernummer und deren Code zu erhalten. Zimmereinrichtung ist schlicht, einfach und in die Jahre gekommen

Liked the location of the property and it was convenient. However booking a Mountain View and got the street view and they refused to change the room. Very poor customer service. Expedia let me know in this aspect too. They didn’t fix it, neither did they refund the money.

Disappointing. Shower drain didn’t work. You had to mop water to be able to enter bathroom after the shower. Phones didn’t charge overnight as main switch turned off the outlets in the room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good.

Well, there was no staff at all. so make sure you have a phone to call the local number provided to you. one of the phone number they send you on the email will have a wrong phone number on it. (missing a number). the rooms are quiet small but seems to be a normal for the area.
